Hence how he scored more progressive ball-playing teams (who aren't particularly good) like Swansea x2, Bournemouth x 2, Hudders x 2 & Watford x 2. Yet didn't get these goals against more 'pragmatic' teams like West Brom, Newcastle, Man Utd or Burnley.

Huddersfield ball playing team? Scored and assisted against West Brom too as well as Southampton.

I dunno, his goals and assists look quite well spread to me. 14 goals and 7 assists in 27 league games.

Yeah I like Firmino, does a lot of good to the team and has a lot of positive qualities. Suits the team really well and Liverpool should be happy with that.

Reality is though his role is essentially to get the best out of Mane/Salah and when they aren't performing he rarely picks up the slack in terms of goal scoring contribution.

If 27 goals if rarely "picking up the slack" then I don't know what is.

Overall think the OP has got the team spot on. I'd probably have to agree with that. Liverpool at the moment overall have the better squad but we shall see what happens in the season.
