A shame really. He was quite capable of achieving more. Clearly stayed there too long after they got relegated. Injuries probably curtailed his opportunities, maybe.

Going to be a cracking atmosphere at the CG. Hats off to the board for fixing the prices so they are reasonable. £25 today for an adult ticket. Can’t make it myself because of work but I’ll be popping along to as many games as I can at those prices.

Been brave with a season ticket but going to the West Brom game on the missus’s anniversary well and truly got shot down.

Sounds like I missed a footballing spectical

I think there will be changes today; an unchanged team could be a rarity this season with the depth of squad we now have. It's not just about how they played in the previous game; the sports scientists will have been all over it with their ecg machines and blood-oxygen levels. They will be making sure recovery levels are we they should be. If it were just down to how they played on Tuesday it would definitely be an unchanged team but I think we can bring in the likes of Watson and Goncalves without affecting the quality of the team.

I don't think we will need to match Tuesday's performance to beat Reading today. Just depends how ruthless we are in front of goal. The trickies by two at least today.

Grabban has an unsuccessful loan spell at Reading so hopefully he will feel he has something to prove against them.

I feel that the team won’t change much today. Maybe Watson for Colback as he struggled a little second half against WBA. Bit of a chance to continue building that understanding.

I hope they maintain that level of performance from the WBA game as that’s the level they are going to have to hit regularly to achieve something this season. I don’t want to see any lessening of the effort. Reading aren’t one of the favourites by a long way but they have more than enough to put Forest in their place should they be given the opportunity to.

Off to work now. Will check in when I can.
