He only scored two!

Why would you be surprised “as a Gooner”? about the lack of backlash?

It didn’t really have a significant impact on the result so does it really matter that much?

Was a shocking decision which luckily didn't affect the outcome. Imagine that at 0-0 in a big game later in the season.

Liverpool goal offside? Shock horror.....

posted on 12/8/18

Yep it was miles offside.

Last season we had goals ruled out and not given perfectly legal...about time it turned for us

West Ham should’ve had 1 player sent off and could’ve had another one off for tripping Keita.

West Ham were well beaten and it could’ve been 6 or 7, now wrap up.

If its a 0-0 game, then it seems a goals was correctly flagged as offside

I am surprised because it is in the nature of sport and true athletes to fight for everything. There are some that will say that that goal would not affect the final result. This maybe true but come the end of the season that goal may affect your position on the table which in turn will cost you millions in funds .

Terrible decision for that goal, no idea how the lino missed it.
Wouldn't have changed the result though, Liverpool won with ease.

However, VAR could have seen Sterling sent off in the 4th minute (before he scored) or two stonewall penalties for Arsenal given. Game changing non-decisions.

You can see why certain clubs opposed it.

If the decision benefitted us how would it potentially cost us millions? Surely we’d potentially gain millions from gaining a place or two?

Would be interesting to know whether they did any research into how many decisions they’ve benefited from before voting against.

City and Pep want VAR, of course they would after the CL fiasco

posted on 12/8/18

My fault, i harangued that lino for not being up with play when he failed to flag arnautovic offside. Thereon he evened it up with letting Mane go through.

Evened itself out

I think it’s disgraceful that you read the s#n

There was no CL fiasco...

They didn’t even have a shot on target in the QF first leg....

They got hammered!

First game of last season, Watford equalised in injury time agianst Liverpool, with a goal that was a mile offside.
No backlash, no backlash articles.🤔
