Nobody should feel happy that somebody is hurt but this is a huge boost for everybody else who wants to challenge.
Yeah Da Silva is a fine player, Goundghan also an able player. Tbh, City won’t miss him that much. Fernandinho is the one they don’t want lose, his alternative would be Fabian Delph, which is a massive drop in quality.
One down
Its my voodoo dolls working
The only team this a lifeline for is Liverpool, the rest aren't good enough.
I hate to see top players injured. Even when they are our direct rivals.
I'd rather us be able to beat City in a straight fight than rely on this as something to cling onto. They should still finish higher than us though having said all that.

This! When R9 came to old trafford and tore us a new one, I was sad we went out but happy to have seen that game.
I am sure Chelsea fans will say the same when Ronaldinho scored that majestic goal at the bridge. I want to see top talent playing
Obviously a big blow, but run until Liverpool game dont really have an excuse to drop points even without him.
Not saying we wont. And internationals will take up some of it.

No one will really remember that though.
No one really remembers that your 2007 title was aided by our unprecedented injury crisis nor that similar happened in reverse in 2010. Ultimately the winners deserve it.
Won't be a big miss to City iMO. They just have way too much firepower and a stellar manager.
Fernandinho OTOH for a stretch of time and now we're talking.
Who nobbled him?
Anyone know yet?

I suppose looking back the record books don't remember that but, at the time, I don't recall wishing injury on any player from rival teams. I just want to win toe to toe. Injuries are part of the game though and that's why clubs have squads to cope.
It's amazing that despite personally thinking de Bruyne is the best player in the league, his absence will hardly derail City.
The squad depth is ridiculous and a Manager that's getting them play brilliant football.
They'll be absolutely fine.

Last season they sure showed everyone.
I think City will be fine but you just never know.
Fernandinho and David Silva are 33 now. Still have so much quality

Exactly, they’ve a lot to prove yet.
Shouldn’t be a major blow to them with the depth they have.
City won’t start at the pace they did in the first half of last season even with KDB. I think the narrative will be about how big his loss is rather than the fact that their form last year is just unsustainable.
Losing Fernandinho would be a bigger loss due to the alternatives for that role in the squad.
Good news as most people have him in my fantasy football league and I picked Bernardo on the cheap đ
But apart from that City won’t miss him much. Would be much worse if they lost the likes of Aguero, Ederson, Walker or Fernandinho
It's never good news when your best player is out for some time, on the other hand the fixtures coming up look reasonably kind.
If we are able to come through them gaining near to maximum points then a refreshed KdB will be a bonus around the festive period.
He played a lot of games last season including many cup games plus his World Cup exploits, a spell on the side lines will surely give his batteries a thorough recharge.

A lot will be hoping it's Raheem Sterling I imagine.
Fans go to matches to see the best players, I am not sure those who watch on TV feel the same. Hopefully Bernardo can continue his fine form and Merlin will be back. Also a chance for Gundogan to show the player the fans thought we were buying, too hot and cold so far.

We've kind of improved since then.
You improved last season and went from fourth to fourth.
Even with city’s depth, losing KDB is a massive blow. They will definitely feel his absence in some games despite the wealth of talent they have to replace him with.
