I had a big bust up with a "friend" last week over his Islamophobia and I told him straight he was a racist. He tried to twist out of it saying it's not race it's religion but the simple fact is he tried to act the big man online and got called out for it.
Thankfully I don't have to speak to him, it is his wife we have known for a long time. Much as you don't need to speak to or see these online warriors who think they can type what they think and see no repercussion for it.
It's easy for me to say don't let it bother you as I've not had to suffer the abuse.
I'm grateful that before returning to Scotland my kids socialised with kids from Nepal, Ghana, Caribbean, Wales, Scotland, India and even England. Now we've been home for a number of years they don't see skin, race, religion they just see a friend.
Oh and for the record if you think they could win the league you are a Timposter
