So being above them last week because we had a high goal difference doesn’t count but city being above us this week because they have a higher goal difference does?

I meant from now on. Do they even do tables on day one?

Cundy brought this up about Utd last night on talkshit which tells you everything you need to know about this article really.

Will United ever be above Bournemouth this season? (not including times when Bournemouth have yet to play).

Why would they start after the second group of fixtures and not the first.

Because this article was made today. And today the table is what I’m looking at. Keep up sport!

Think that’s called moving the goalposts to suit an agenda and I suspect you will move them a good bit more over the season.

Everyone sees Liverpool as contenders for the title or runners up

I don't see it to be honest

They will be outside the top 4 imho at the end of the season.

Bookmark as it's no point arguing it just now

Aww, Liverpool fan gets angry that no one noticed the one time after one game they’re likely to ever be ahead of City

I can see where you’re coming from now. You refuse to answer the Op because you think because you were ahead on goal difference after one game you’ve won the ‘we won the league on day one’ trophy

As you guys are in a bit of a drought I guess they all count now

Given this is clearly what you want to hear - probably not.

City's next 5 games are:
Wolves
Newcastle
Fulham
Cardiff
Brighton

Then they play us.

Liverpool's next 5 are:
Brighton
Leicester
Tottenham
Southampton
Chelsea

So unless City slip up against teams that most would really expect them to beat, for Liverpool to be ahead we're likely to have to beat Spurs away, Chelsea away and then probably City themselves.

The most likely outcome is that City will be top for pretty much the whole season. They're excellent.

Happy now Nobb?

Not really, you asked if we'd be higher than them at all this season. And we have been.

Liverpool fans need to try to get above Spurs first at the end of the season, before targeting City.

Man City play first this coming weekend if they win 2-0 and we beat Brighton 4-0, we’d be above them after they play first.

Doesn’t sound to far fetched does it?

Or like you saw Palace beating us?

This.

Chelsea will get better imo so looking to get top 4

Spurs I feel will be genuine contenders and push city more than Liverpool

I think the whole they didn't sign anyone will benefit spurs

Of course things can change due to injuries to key personnel for any team but as it stands that is an honest opinion

Utd will struggle as something just seems wrong
