Just reading that Wolves are only the third team since the beginning of last season to reach double figures in shot attempts in a Premier League match against Man City.

Can't be ar$ed reading all the comments. But a very good display by the lads. A little fortunate with the goal, but the same could be said for those against us last week and yes City hit the woodwork 3 times, but so did we last week.

So, well done the lads and Nuno, but if I may dare to criticize any aspect of todays game, it was the lads continually giving the ball away. I do think Traore should have come on 10 minutes before he did when we were in front, if nothing else than to keep the City defense on it's toes. I must say after a few poor touches at first, he really showed his pace and I'd like him to start the next game.

Man of the match was Patricio, closely followed by Boly. Not sure anyone had a bad game, although Bennett was suspect a couple of times. Costa showed his pace and played his best this season.

Ipswich bottom of the Championship as it stands. Who'd have thunk it?

3 teams have a chance to knock City off the top before the end of this round of matches. Liverpool must be favourites

Bet Fred are already paying out on Liverpool.

When McCarthy left us we went backwards to League One and I did go onto an Ipswich board to say careful what you wish for last season. He certainly over achieved there with the resources he had and that may well show in the next year or two

I've just looked at their forum. There's actually a thread entitled "Careful What You Wish For".

Excellent performance by Wolves today and I think we only have to replicate our performances in the first three games to be a top half team. I thought everyone played well today. Doherty perhaps the exception in the first half when he kept giving the ball away but he has a good second half. Much better from Jota and Costs today who justified their selection when most people, including me, thought Traore would come in. But he certainly made an impact from the bench. Boly and Bennett were excellent in defence and Jiminez, Castro and Patricio all look really good signings. Every reason to remain optimistic for what this season will bring

Can't believe those numpties wanted more than hoofball when clubs with tiny budgets like them were surpassing them. #sillysausages

Wolves have done well, in all seriousness, it’s been a good start and you have no worries about staying up. You need a clinical goal scorer though - if you had that then you could be top 8. As it is I reckon you’ll be 12th or somewhere around there
