Was odd going on about how “he” won the league, not the team he managed. Managers have key roles but it’s a team sport ffs. Truly lost the plot. Jose is laughing himself to the bank. He is just a more polished version of Sam Allardyce. Doesn't do much coaching but takes the credit when things are going well and blames the players when they are not. Last year he was awarded a 2 year extension worth a cool £20m if he was sacked almost double that if he lasts till 2020. Just like with Allardyce there will always be a mug to pay him more money elsewhere.

Spot on. All that false humility to the fans vanished pronto as soon as he was put on the spot, so he reverts to his automatic defence mechanism which is to promote himself. That itself should ring alarm bells to United fans and the board. What does PL titles he won with a different team have to do with United? 2 of them were in 2005 and 2006, I don’t hear Benitez using his La Liga, UEFA cup and CL wins from 2002-2005 as any sort of weight to what he does with Newcastle, so why Moronho wants to bring up history that’s irrelevant to the here and now is pathetic.

Rafa is an old type manager when subtlety was sufficient and his past glories were implied otherwise the Newcastle fan-base would have turned on the rubbish Rafa serves up every week.
