It's £600k a week now. It was £300k a few weeks ago.

zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Unbelievable really.
Sanchez should have been the difference with us finishing 2nd and winning the title.

Wumming each other over who is the least awful these days while you're local rivals quite frankly embarrass you both

And the irony of what you said above is probably lost on you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is why Mourinho isn’t being given any more money, the Glazers are furious with Woodward for sanctioning £500k a week to Sanchez which sees him take more out of the club than the Glazers do.
Well jel.

Sanchez was very reliable at Arsenal. In many matches you were always sure he will pull something out of the bag and rescue the team. Mourinho's negative tactics have completely ruined him, and Mkhitaryan is actually performing better since the swap.
Mourinho = Wenger, only differences are Mourinho is a caant and doesn't even attempt to play attacking football.

Jorginho has been great though just fyi.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only game I saw him in for you guys was vs Newcastle and I thought he was really disappointing actually.
He’s not really suited to the style of play. Think he’d have done much better at city. However he does seem to have lots a bit of the explosive side to his game, doesn’t seem quite as quick and physical. Maybe his fitness isn’t quite what is use to be, he played loads of football while at arsenal, playing with chile over most summers, maybe that’s caught up a bit. Noticed it a bit toward the end at arsenal. But I assumed it’s because he was fed up there. Most pacey players drop off a bit when they get in their 30s. Possibly he could look to adapt his game if that’s happening, because the quality will still be there.
Having said that I still wouldn’t be surprised if he regained his form. If Man U start going on a winning run, his confidence might return and his form with it.
He would probably have done well under Pep and his tactics. Unfortunately we have made another signing that doesn't fit in with the manager and his approach.
...............
Compounded by the fact the idiot manager dropped an in form Martial to play him on the left.
His deterioration didn't start when he joined United; it had been going on for the best part of a year beforehand. Crazy signing: Not only because we're getting less value from him but moreover because we've ditched players who were doing OK.
I'm pretty sure that this was the final straw for Woodward that made him say no to more players who were just past their peak.

I think crazy signing is a bit strong as (at the time) he was thought to be a great 'Prem ready' player who was single handedly keeping Arsenal competitive (kind of). Many clubs were after him and it looked like Utd had done well in signing him for a free albeit on massive wages.
Easy to be wise after the event

He had his off-days at Arsenal but those were exceptions, he was still at least decent in most games. But right now a good game from him is the exception, his form has really gone down. For a player who enjoyed a full rest all summer everyone expected him to start the season with a bang. But tbf how can he flourish under a manager who uses ultra-defensive tactics?

erm he's played 1 full game and a few mins as a sub, not a massive sample size, I agree your not going to get the best out of him with these tactics but to say after 1 and a bit games hes not firing is a bit unfair

Champion crisp eaters?
There's two issues with Sanchez:
1. He's definitely lost some pace and explosiveness, which means he finds himself coming short for the ball and getting behind the play more than getting behind the defence or bursting past people.
2. Our style of attack - virtually non-existent - hinders all of our attackers. We don't play with tempo and intensity, our recovery of possession takes place too deep to counter teams and takes too long frankly.
If we were moving the ball quickly, high up the pitch in threatening areas and working the opposition with good link up play then Sanchez would still bring a lot to the table as he's technically excellent, has quick feet and takes risks.
Utd should play 352 with Alexis up alongside/just behind Lukaku. He's lost a lot of pace, he can't really beat players out wide anymore

£2.3m a week to play piano and touch his dogs. madness

£2.5m a week is madness.
Utd have not only ruined him but paying him silly massive wages which could possibly affecting their capacity of sign another expensive player or two. People usually only take transfer fee as an hindrance but massive wage bill also affect capacity to sign big name players...
Sanchez has been shocking for United, was to be expected as apart from work ethic, he doesn’t suit Mourinho at all. Luckily for him that Fredayoko is doing his absolute best to deflect the attention away from him.
Sanchez was given everything on the plate at Arsenal he was the main man...He was NEVER going to reach the Arsenal heights due to this. Of course class player nonetheless under performing under complete opposite manager to Wenger.
and he doesn't give a sheeet !
Barely in to the season, so hopefully he can start performing for United.
I am an Arsenal fan and was utterly baffled by the deal in the first place, but Sanchez was spectacular for us (up until that last season). I do not even blame him for the last season, the other players never turned up, Sanchez would moan at them and they through a hissy fit... Wenger didn’t help at all. Whilst I get no pleasure seeing united win anything, Sanchez deserved his RVP dream ending in Manchester and I would like to see him succeed for what he did for Arsenal...
Pitty United are as pants as Arsenal these days.
