If you think you're gonna get spanked then you may as well make a day of it and go into the city centre after the game for a good old fashioned pss up.

Stay over and head home on Sunday

Who is this stankovic guy? He scored v city, thought he might be a easy 6 points v cardiff in ff. He didnt even play.

Metro, I know the city well enough. Blue, Stanković hasn't played for ages after doing his acl not long as after he signed for us. He's a central defender.

Very positive as always hydy ! , can't really disagree, we can't score or defend atm.... recipe for disaster, international breal after this match, things may be different in 2 weeks... although I doubt it...

I’m going tomorrow, I must be a masochist, more in hope than expectation though if i’m honest. However surely our results must improve at some point? Doesn’t the law of averages say we’re due a win?

I know we’ve been awful this season, defence looks shaky and we pose no goal threat but tomorrow is only the fourth (league) game, far too early to throw in the towel. Hopefully Wagner will have used this week to work on stuff in training to change things. I know full on attack is not really feasible against the top four as they’d tear us apart but think we should at least have a go against the others. Let’s put up a fight.

2-1 to us, Mounié and Pritchard to score.

Wagner looks a broken man. We couldn't attack a tin of custard at the moment Utg. This isn't a new thing, it's been like this since about December last year, or after the spurs home defeat. That rocked us,big time.

I agree the Spurs game changed everything, we became much more defensive and although it served us well enough to get enough points to avoid relegation I don’t think it will this season.

I honestly think we play (and look) much better when we try and move the ball around at pace and get forward. All we can do is see what happens but I wish we could go back to the ‘no limits and Terrier spirit’ philosophy.

He,s lost the dressing room..he can't turn this around now he's out of ideas.... clueless tbh... just a matter of time now

Not gonna be popular with yous on here but get big Sam in and with say 32/33 games left and a transfer window he will keep us up

We're in the Premier league and I can honestly say it's purgatory watching us play since January this year...soul destroying

Hopefully he will walk tomorrow after another heavy defeat

Wagner wouldn’t walk, it’s not in him. He’d be too stubborn to do it. I’m on the fence really about him. I can’t see what he’s going to do or change to improve. The quality of football has been woeful for many months. It may just take a win to lift everyone’s spirits and then begin to build our season.

Everton comfortably dealt with Town last season. Our style of play hasn’t changed, it will take a huge effort and performance to get a win against the Toffees.

Pre season and I thought with Wagner bringing in some pacey strong wingers, we’d have an attacking mindset, that the Terrier spirit would be back. That should have been on display last week against Cardiff. That turned out to be a dour match, why? Hogg is obviously thick as pig, or is it hog s**t! A number of others in the squad lack brain cells too. Basic train of thought and common sense lack ever so with some of the players. I won’t name them, but you’ll have a fair idea!

So, where do we go after today’s encounter? Onwards and upwards, or sinking slowly in the quicksand of relegation battles?

I hope everything begins to click today, I really do. No negativity from Dave, have the team set up to at least take the game to Everton. Have the players play with freedom. Press when it’s appropriate to do so. Mix the attacking intent, play it through the middle with accurate passing and through balls. Get crosses in when the time is right, not after every move forward, which has been very predictable.

Starters for me, Pritchard, Mbenza, Diakhaby, Depoitre and Bacuna, he may score a forty yard screamer in the correct goal today!

Recall Coleman, surely he’d do much better then Tweedledee and Tweedledum! Both of those clowns have no idea when to come out of their box or to stay in it!

Win today and we may feel much better, lose and our noisy neighbours will be laughing.

Everton always gives teams hope, they can go 3 up and then somehow concede 2 in the final 10 minutes and have us biting our nails for the remaining of the match, they always do it.

I'll admit we're playing decent stuff and obviously, Huddersfield are struggling, but take it from me, after more than 20 years going to Goodison I'm not counting my chickens. I mean look at our previous games this season, 2 straight reds in 3 games, and both were totally unnecessary.

Not Allardyce please 😱😱😱

Who else Utg? Moyes seems to spend a lot of time watching us.

If it happens, we'll be the biggest barstuds in football, just like when we sacked Lee Clarke.

posted on 1/9/18

I don’t think Hoyle will sack him but he could walk I suppose. I don’t know who could replace him but not Allardyce please, I cannot stand that man.

I don't know why utg?..he comes across well on talksport and is an old Terrier aswell...think it was just a season but I remember watching him play for us at Leeds road...it's disgusting how he gets treated..Bolton played good footie under him and we would appreciate him and give him some respect!.... teams use him then stab him in the back

posted on 1/9/18

There’s just something about him that I really dislike Waltz. I also think he’s arrogant and a bully.

posted on 1/9/18

I wish my team were arrogant right now like Wolves, at em, instead of the little Huddersfield bull I here every week by Wagner... Alladiyce would never say that... never

posted on 1/9/18

Probably not but it doesn’t change the way I feel about him. There’s something not right about him.

Wagner makes two changes from Cardiff game

- David Wagner names Huddersfield Town team to face Everton
- Two changes from most recent Premier League game

With Hamer unavailable, 18-year-old England Under-21 international Ryan Schofield appears on a Premier League team-sheet for the first time as a substitute.

Elias Kachunga is on a Premier League substitutes’ bench for the first time this season alongside Erik Durm; the pair having impressed in the Carabao Cup game at Stoke City in midweek.

Wagner is still without the services of Ramadan Sobhi (knee).
