Cech is a very big personality in the dressing room. Emery needs the buy in from the players so he has to give them a chance. Cech really hasn't performed very poorly if you ignore his distribution. I think the hammer will eventually come and I don't think Cech will cause too many troubles in the media or dressing room because he has to an extent acknowledged his his own limitations. I think Cech would be good as a backup keeper and passing his knowledge to the next generation. Worthy of a new contract. But not as a starter.

It really annoys me about those that call for Leno to start without knowing anything about the guy. All they know is that we have signed him for £26m and apparently he can play out from the back. However, it is my guess that no one, apart from Emery, has the global perspective on who is better suited to the team at the moment and Emery has chosen Cech.

Yes, Cech makes me nervous but I'm hoping that if we give him time he will be able to adapt to this new style of goalkeeping.

Lets be honest around 90% of us have never need Leno play and Youtube highlights can make even me look like a class GK.

I'd rather Leno play when the defense is more settled and atm it's all over the shop
