Really please explain how that’s the case?

I’m happy Manchester which has a long history in sport has been reconised for it.

It’s my home town after all.

Ah the idiot defence, often seen when an idiot backs himself into a corner then is asked to explain himself 😂

Priceless.

LQ you should do some research yourself.

Here is a fact:
The rate at which US blacks are disproportionately involved in violent crime is higher than the rate that they are disproportionately killed by police.
That is to say US cops are more likely to shoot blacks when measured against the total population, they are MORE likely to shoot WHITE SUSPECTS when only measured against police interactions.

Here are some opinions:
Kaepernick is a useful idiot that consorts with Islamic and Socialist extremists like Linda Sarsour.
Like many dumb Leftists he praised Castro improving literacy rates, often repeated because it is literally the only positive any one can point to about Cuba's murderous dead dictator.
He is stupid, uninformed and associated with people that advocate for violence, not someone to build a political or marketing campaign around.

So finally, will this work out well for Nike?
Not unless they were using the furore it to hide some terrible outrage we've now all missed.
Hardly anyone will buy gear associated with Kaepernick just for virtue-signalling points, most will carry on as usual, and a great many will avoid their products, myself included.
When the share prices drops a little, Nike will be fine if they back away from divisive political statements, and just stick to selling sportswear; however if they panic and double-down in an attempt to garner more social-justice consumers they will spiral.

Get woke, go broke x

Also I forgot to add that black cops are more likely to shoot black suspects than white cops, which suggests to me the figures you attribute to race, are not in fact generated by racism.

Unless of course you think the black cops have 'internalised racism', to which I would respond that your own rather cruel and bigoted social-justice ideology has blinded you to reality x

X, perhaps you could explain the fact as printed in the New York Times that shows that a black man commiting the same crime as a white man is given a 20% longer prison sentence.

This disparity was observed over many offences from weapons possession violent crime drugs, it included age nationality education and citizenship status in its factors.

A 2014 study by the university of Michigan law found that black offenders were 75% more likely to face a charge carying a mandatory minimum prison sentence than a white man for the same crime.

The prison population is 5 times higher for blacks than whites.

This is a fact, one that’s all there in black and white.

I have done my research and there are many studies and reports on these disparity’s out there.

Don’t know why you are laughing, you literally had a thread written about how stupid you are yesterday 😂

You figured out the away goals rule yet 🤔

Few points for you X:

1. Nike's statement and symbol is something that has been shared now between countless athletes globally. From the UK to the Australia people will see their favourite athletes post and promote this brand. It is a huge win for Nike and the only people who will now boycott it is racists

2. Who Kaepernick decides to hang with is of little relevance to the actual point of the matter. He protested against black brutality, and lost his career because of it. The message is clear and simple and for only delinquents to misconstrue.

3. Probably a different topic altogether, however, how the US acted with regards to Castro was deplorable.

4. You can be pedantic all you want but there is a clear race issue in America which is indisputable.

5. This is a thread about Manchester, the fact that you posted this on the completely wrong thread shows your intellect.

6. Anyone who signs off with a handle seriously, especially one of their own name - is either a pedophile or a psychopath.

If people don’t like who Kaepernick hangs round with they would be shocked by J Corbyn.

To use who someone hangs round with is weak in an argument about a man fighting against oppression and racism.
