Season is a write-off in my eyes. I'm just watching for the entertainment rather the result and they're not delivering on that either. Seems like we've regressed in our football a bit and hoping we snap out of it.
My biggest fear is moving forward whether we fixed up and strengthen properly or slowly dismantle this team. I have nothing against a player moving ala Walker personally but it's so dejecting to see.

Until Levy leaves I don't see it changing. He's never been one for marquee signings and he's admitted as much. The future holds more of the same for as long as Levynezer Scrooge stays.
we started with 3 wins but we didn't seem at it
last 3 games we have looked poor
if i find that cow poch was talking about i might just throw myself under that fecking train

I have nothing to say about this run of poor results........ except ........
perhaps Sandy can find something positive?
Where is that facking buga?
Hiding?
I doubt we`ll reach the next level under ENIC, it`s all a bit meh and these days I don`t even get all that hacked off when we lose, because I half expect it and have seen it all before many times.
We are a nearly club, will things change with a new stadium and more revenue? Probably not, ENIC are in it for profit, they are a business first and a football club second.
We have over achieved in the last few years, but now a few of our players are coming to the end of their contracts and are perhaps past their best. Also, how long will Eriksen, Kane etc hang around if there is no prospect of trophies.

Wouldn’t say losing interest...
Perplexed
Baffled
Annoyed
Dismayed
Disheartened
Levy and that no-mark slaaaag Donna Cullen shouldn’t be coming out with all these statements such as ‘the stadium won’t affect transfers... he’s got the clubs interests at heart always.... he’s working hard to strengthen the squad....’etc if it isn’t true. I want the truth. If they’re lying to what is essentially their own customers and the heart of the club which is the fan base then that’s an absolute disgrace.
What other team has finished 3rd, 2nd and 3rd and showed so little ambition to improve and take that extra step? Look at our signings since May 2016:
Wanyama
Janssen
N’koudou
Sissoko
Pau Lopez
Llorente
Aurier
Lucas Moura
Foyth
Sanchez
Gazzaniga
Am I saying we should go all Mourinho and sign a bunch of 29 year olds? No.
Majority of these players wouldn’t look out of place at Newcastle or Southampton ffs, hence why Rose said what he said in that interview.
Don’t know if it’s Poch, Levy or the both of them, but there’s this deluded belief that all our players will improve as they get older while nobody else’s will, so we can do the bare minimum which will be enough. Absolutely lunacy from the club to think this is the case. In every walk of life you should be striving to progress as opposed to settling, we’ve done the latter which is why we are where we are right now - which is looking over our shoulder as opposed to targeting those at the top.
It becomes more and more apparent that 16/17 season (or more specifically January-May 2017) was for us to savour because that’s as good as it’ll get anytime soon.
Why have no stadium or transfers symbolic really.
I didn't think it was an excellent 3rd place finish, I thought we whimpered into 3rd place and therefore the CL with a defeat at WBA for instance. The bad form from the end of last season has carried forward to this season.
Now from the season isn't a write off, it just hasn't started yet and I'm not losing interest. A GOOD win and we'll shrug off this malaise.

What ledders says sums it up perfectly.
No clarity at all on anything.
Absolutely gutted about the result but thought the boys played well.
Football can be cruel at times.
Just give us our new stadium, a quality CM and forward and a 10 match winning run spurs

The players are not at their best, but these sort of results happen far too often under Poch, so maybe he is not as good as we all think he is.
We desperately need a top class CM to help play us out of tight situations quickly and efficiently, we always tend to look poor when teams press us high up the pitch and clubs are starting to cotton on to it.
Honestly OP, I have supported the club for nearly 60 years, and you saying you are losing a bit of interest after a few bad results. Get behind the team.
Sandy do you still think we were right to not sign anyone?

It's not about the results, it's the malaise and lack of ambition. I still back us to come top 4 and get through to the last 16, but that is as good as it gets. We are only going to go backwards from here unless ENIC sell up.
was surprised we didn't sign that Columbian guy Mina-could do with some aerial power atm

Not signing any players had absolutely nothing to do with letting in two goals, one a worldy in the last five minutes. That is purely down to poor game management.

You can't divorce your football team like you can an underperforming woman so I wouldn't say I'm losing interest but I do despair at the unprofessional things that happen to us. When was the last time we were 1 down after 85mins in a cl game or against a top 6 rival and won the game? We can do it against a Swansea or West Ham but we just don't have the character to do it in a big match.
We have so many players out of form and lacking fight at the moment that its hard to imagine when we might see anything like the youthful dynamic side that we have been so proud of in recent years.
