In the main we defended incredibly well. The amount of patient step tackles, disciplined and not going to ground, helping each other out was top class.
Sturridge had a good game because he scored but he missed a sitter and tbh I though his first touch should have been better for the Salah disallowed goal. He ran out of legs ultimately but firat half was very good. He held it well, moved well and drew fouls when nothing was on. Second half his decision making was very poor, for example on the break he should have just fed Salah and the less said about his lazy right foot curler the better.
Milner, Henderson and Wijnaldum were excellent with the latter protecting the ball beautifully. Really good technical play at times from him and just all round power play from the others.
TAA at 20. Amazing and Gomez too but Trent will be an exceptional player I feel. Robertson is still improving, he's turning into a really fine player and defensively was very intelligent. A great test today for him that he passed I felt and if he continues with this form will have to be considered a top player.
Firmino? Just funny isn't he. Love him and love watching him play football. Technically a world class goal and the celebration was mint as usual too. Fvcking makes me laugh and what a great end to a top game.

You were better than them though and you deserved the win.
We absolutely battered PSG in that second half - anyone that says otherwise is completely faaaacking deluded or a United fan (both non mutually exclusive anyway) and even their goal came from a Salah mistake.
We should really have been out of sight and I’ve said it time and time again but Neymar is the most overrated player on the planet. All fancy dribbles, footwork and nutmegs with very little productivity. Doesn’t track back either and always moaning. What a game though and anyone playing European games at Anfield is in for a tough evening. Also, how good are we to watch! Always entertain.

PSG were horrible.
Looks like a good draw for us getting them out of pot 1 to be honest, they are a very ordinary side. Really looking forward to the return game with our pace on the counter with their front three doing no tracking back at all.
Good result for us in the other game, beat Napoli away next up we are nearly there already imo.

Was a great game. You look a real force this season, the intensity and energy of your game is second to none.
Unfortunately I see you leaving us behind this season. Can see you winning the FA Cup, League Cup or both but City are still too strong.
No KLS, Brighton and Spurs are only hard for us.
But you have found it quite difficult to beat a poor United side of late.
Yeah their style is different but I don't know if anyone noticed but the lads had to work their absolute bollox off to win by the odd goal and restrict them space as best we could. You know why they had to do that? Because the likes of Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe are really good at football.
Pretending like PSG are some rabble is nonsense. They're a good side ffs!
Anyway fvck all that. Napoli drew as well so it's a good night and I've been thoroughly entertained. Again.

Was a great game. You look a real force this season, the intensity and energy of your game is second to none.
Unfortunately I see you leaving us behind this season. Can see you winning the FA Cup, League Cup or both but City are still too strong.

No KLS, Brighton and Spurs are only hard for us.
But you have found it quite difficult to beat a poor United side of late.

Yeah their style is different but I don't know if anyone noticed but the lads had to work their absolute bollox off to win by the odd goal and restrict them space as best we could. You know why they had to do that? Because the likes of Neymar, Cavani and Mbappe are really good at football.
Pretending like PSG are some rabble is nonsense. They're a good side ffs!
Anyway fvck all that. Napoli drew as well so it's a good night and I've been thoroughly entertained. Again.
