Barca have won it 4 times

Bayern have won it once and reached multiple semi finals
Atleti have been runners up twice and reached a couple of semi finals
Man United have won it once and been runners up twice
Juventus have been runners up twice


That’s just a few off the top of my head. Using the OP’s logic, you shouldn’t be fourth favourites to win the CL.

Also, so other teams have done really well so why are we 4th fav? Some of the teams you mention are 2nd and 3rd favs!! And some have not done anything for several years, whereas other have had more resent success (therefore still have those players manager!!)

No you didn’t mention Liverpool, however they were used as an example to highlight your lack of logic. You implied that because of City’s lack of pedigree or lack of recent achievements in the CL, they shouldn’t be favourites to win it, right?

No it’s not try filling your stadium and creating an atmousphere then you might just go somewhere in Europe 🤣

And for the record I don’t believe Liverpool would have achieved anything near what we have in Europe
Over the years without the fans at Anfield...

They are favourites, becuase all the big betting companies in Europe if not the world are based in the UK and most money from the betting companies comes from UK money and most punters spunking their money away are English and deluded and still believe the EPL is the best league on the planet with the best teams on the planet and when the bookies get loads of bets placed on any team in any sport they shorten the odds to cover any potential losses. It's simple really.

Most recent runners up?
Most recent semi-finalists?
Accumulated performance over a set time period?
Historical CL wins?
