As you say the Chelsea game is one we can look to rest players and give some of the squad players valuable game time. Even if the likes of Salah need a break, get the game won then bring him off against Saints.
This game is a good opportunity for Salah to get a couple of goals which would hopefully kickstart his season.

TBH its hard to tell what klopp will do.
I think we all would agree that Alisson will play, so after that who knows.
I think we will go after their CBs.
IMO we want to win the league so we have to win this home game so resting will be more "rotation"
If henderson and keita start that rests someone in midfield. (milner would be wise)
Up fornt firmino got a little rest so who knows after that.

What good is this? He is contributing to the team. He is not going to get 40 goals this season but is still a vital player to the way we play and beat teams.
I think people missed how hard salah worked for the team midweek...
I think personally we need to just get over the very shallow version of oh mane and salah are fighting and not passing to each other rubbish.
Salah ran himself ragged pressing and working on tuesday night. He was subbed of looking well done for the night.. he didn't swan off having had a stiner and not a bead of sweat on him!
IMO saints have not sorted the defence so of course we need salah in the side.
5 league games 2 league goals... ok he's due a couple of goals but... jeez come on.

This is it for me. Give Milner and possibly Mane or Bobby a rest and then play whoever is rested mid week in the league cup.
Not too many changes for me, we can do that vs chelsea in the cup.
Maybe bring in Fab as DM as I don't see the saints coming on to us too much so a good game for him to settle in to the PL.
Just to be clear I don't think anybody is playing badly but as I said games are coming thick and fast and we need to rotate a little.
The game against Southampton shouldn't be too difficult by PL standards as they are very poor at the moment.
I don't think we should rest players against Chelsea for the League cup, not that I am too bothered with the League cup but we are playing Chelsea again in the PL next week and beating them midweek would give us momentum for that fixture.
Hoping for a repeat of last So'ton game. We strolled through it with van dijk answering the boo's with a smile and a good game. We should comfortably win this with not much effort.

Will this game be shown anywhere? Heard the game won't be televisionized?
