A no deal Brexit would be disastrous, benefitting only Isle of Man dwellers like former Ukipper Aaron Banks.

Second referendum required if that is the prospect.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Too late, and what will the second referendum question be?

No deal is better than a schit deal!.....but a deal will be done, for money reasons!

She said she wont agree to a border that splits the uk in two. But brexit has already done this.

Smablems from the off, you will all live to regret it.

Good chance it unites Ireland though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Backstop border plan to sp!it Ulster from the rest of the UK is not the answer to No Hard Border!

Why would you think Irish republicans independence is ok, yet UK independence bad?

How will Eire pay for Ulster?

Will garda police loyalist Ulster?

I think a deal will be done, btw👍

Irish independence sp!it Ireland in two, it you know your history😁

We united when British😀

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope this is in jest
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Kneerash said a United Ireland could result from brexit, so will the Irish police come to my town of Carrickfergus to patrol?

Very good.......I live in Co Antrim, so I can see how you conflate my post to the demise of England.????

Revealing a certain bias there, Eamo, based on prejudice, as my post had folk all to do with the state of Albion😉

In my original post I was referring to your bizarre assertion that Irish Independence split Ireland in two. Lloyd George split it in two when he refused to hand over the 6 counties. It is facetious to suggest that it was Ireland's efforts to regain our independence that split our country in two.

To answer your next question: no I, like every other member of the Republic, am not ok with a hard border but typically England have made a decision without any regard for the Irish situation particularly regarding the price process.

To answer your other question about our economic success post Independence: in the lead up to the 1916 Rising Dublin had the worst slums in Europe ( under English rule).

Getting out from under the English thumb was the best thing that ever happened for our economy. Our recent economic troubles are a candle to a bonfire in comparison with our woes under English rule

The unionists did not want to leave and simply remained, and today Everyone agrees Eire was a backward Catholic church dominated state, with a weak economy, openly hostile to people who are British and Protestant.

It is laughable you deny Irish republicans played no part in dividing Ireland with a violent campaign against British and unionist people and presence.

England, Scotland and NI had slums back then too.....and leaving the British state/ economy was not for money.

England did not make a decision alone, as Wales voted leave, as did many in Ulster and Scotland, and your digs at England are revealing.

Getting out of Brussels rule did not equate to wanting to have a hard Irish border, or annoying Eire.

Did Irish nats consider unionists rights when voting for independence?

There's so much wrong with this post, it would be funny if it wasn't actually sad. It's perfectly revealing for me too and utterly infuriating. I know what the truth is and I have no interest in arguing further with blatant untruths and misconceptions. Also please stop calling Ireland Éire. Irish people hate when British people do that but then I'm sure you are perfectly aware of that.

I'll be signing out now and won't be replying or even looking at any more of these absolute falsehoods and downright tripe.

I'll leave you with this last pearl of wisdom which has been credited to George Carlin and Mark Twain,

"Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"

Good night.

Bless.

Why, as an Irishman, do you feel obliged to lecture British voters in an internal British referendum?

Loyalists do not like Irish nats calling Northern Ireland the six counties, as you did!

British people do not like Irish republicans saying England is fooked, as you did.

When confronted, you run away and Chuck in more banal insults.

Big bad brit syndrome😉

Unable to answer my questions on the backstop between NI and Ulster, those splitting up Ireland into NI and Eire, and proclaiming that you alone know the truth, ffs😁😁😁😁😁

In future, do not post and expect no replies or other opinions, and then flop off in a silly huff👍
