Deflected goals do nothing for strikers on a confidence scale.
Him skinning opposition players would have gave him a bit of a boost though.

The bloke has been in this league fir yrs now, has played pretty much every game since January 90% of which he has been utter dross and he is fleecing us for 400k+ a week and is 29 so getting towards the end of his career. He's a young lad FFS. Despite that he was in good form lady season before we bought Sanchez. Irrespective of Perisic or an alternative, he is still a better option than Sanchez right now
