What are you even rambling on about?
He’s asking for 250k/week which is fking ridiculous.
There is no blame game here. The club came to their senses and realised he’s not worth close to that and decided against what they initially agreed.
This is GREAT news for Arsenal. In the past we have thrown loads of money at bang average players and struggled to get rid of them. At least Ramsey won’t be added to the list. I really hope he is sold in January and we bring in a wide man with the money gained
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So obviously the problem is within the club rather than with the player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which problem GC?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are accusing Ramsey of demanding too much yet he had agreed a new deal with the club and the club has changed its mind on the deal. So where is the player to blame? And why slag him?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you want to be pedantic about it, we don't actually KNOW anything.
The club themselves have never officially revealed the details about the situation, so anything that we've read - whether it be from the BBC or whatever - is supposition.
Granted, some news sources tend to be more reliable than others, but even then, we're assuming that their intel is correct and feeding them the right information.
You have no idea if the details of the Ramsey situation are true anymore than I do.
Now - IF it is true that Ramsey's agent tried to give the club an ultimatum that they increase his wages more than what was verbally agreed or he doesn't sign, the club were well within their rights to tell both of them to do one.
IF the club decided that he simply wasn't worth the money we were going to give him, and subsequently decided to withdraw the offer, then I am ok with that too because it's not like he's a Sanchez/Fabregas/van Persie type of player whereby these guys single-handedly win us games. And we do have more pressing needs that have to be attended to if we want to strengthen.
So whichever way you look at it, it doesn't really matter whether it's the club's fault or Ramsey's fault. It won't make an iota of difference to us moving forwards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I accept some of the points you make. My point is there is absolutely nothing that Ramsey said or did to justify him being attacked for being greedy because he never demanded anything more than what the parties had already agreed on. I'm sure both parties are happy to move on. Period.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But what he agreed on was most probably a double increase in wages, he isn’t gna ask for less is he. People don’t think he’s worth more than what he is, that is not attacking him.

My point is, he agreed on a new deal that he wasn’t worth imo. The deal was obviously an increase on what he is on now. So you got to be looking at 200-250k a week. I don’t think anyone is attacking him, point is, was he worth the new deal. I don’t think he was.

Unless you are privy to the details of Ramsey's contractual situation and were in the room when he and his agent met with Arsenal's representatives, you are in no position to be criticising the club for reneging on the deal. You don't know why they did it. And I am sure they wouldn't have done it without a valid reason.
If you go through my posts, I've not actually criticised Ramsey for the contractual situation (that is definitely on the club for letting it get to this stage). I've criticised him because his performances have been garbage and I don't actually think we'll miss him if/when he goes.

Wth? Is this guy serious?
Ramsey was a good solid player for us through all these years. Personally I'm not big fan of him as he is inconsistent and also injury prone. Wouldn't mind if he leaves.
I'm kinda half and half on the whole saga. We're obviously losing a real talent with Ramsey. He's been a solid performer for us for so many years and won us a couple of trophies. However unless he's played at CM i can't really see how Ramsey fits in with Emery's style of play. Ramsey is most effective when playing up against a donkey like Giroud. We've moved on from that play now.
However he's not worth the amount that he's reported to be demanding and i'm glad the club have finally grown a backbone and stood up to these ridiculous wage demands.
