I don't think either fighter is afraid of the other.
The stumbling block is the promoters, neither are being realistic about making the fight happen right now. Is that because they think it will be even bigger a year from now?
Ultimately Joshua is the A side so he's gonna put his foot down about wanting it in the UK, Wilder will need to accept this. However, AJ needs to accept Wilder is not going to accept a flat fee because that's ridiculous so Wilder will need a percentage of the money. Wilder has to understand that the percentage will not be 50% though, he can't expect AJ to make like 15 or 20% more than normal while Wilder earns more than 10 times what he normally does.
What is hard to compromise on, is what would actually be fair. I'd say Wilder getting 35 to 40%, AJ gets the rest.

wilder has had what, 12 more pro fights than AJ and hasn't been in the ring with anyone close to Klit, or even Povetkin for that matter.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nearly double... 18 more fights
D4... I'm starting to think you don't like AJ ?

A 41 year old Klit, two years of ring rust after getting schooled by Fury in his backyard and a 39 year old PEDvetkin who is nothing without his drugs.
And that is Joshua's best

Of course they do. They're trying to bate the public interest into making this the biggest fight possible because it would be their biggest pay day.
The fight(s) will be made sooner or later and facing Wilder with a Fury win under his belt or facing Fury with a world title to his name - both options will be a bigger event than it being made today.
But nuanced argument doesn't seem to sit well here. Just because AJ doesn't fight according your expected time frame he's a coward and a fraud. No room for shades of grey here, judgement had apparently been passed.
And Joshua wants it later.
Wilder is 34 next year, past his prime and is on the downward spiral.
Joshua only likes fighting old men.
Amazing how these fan girls give Joshua a pass for this blatant ducking

Yes, boxing is a business and ducking Wilder is a business move by Joshua as his earning potential will take a massive drop if he were to lose.
It's also a boxing decision, as Joshua knows Wilder can beat him and the longer they leave the fight the better chance Joshua has of winning as Wilder is on the downward spiral now.
I don’t blame Joshua - I blame Hearn and his Sky paymasters to be honest. They are insistent that the Wilder happens in the UK, they want everything on their terms - and most importantly they want to control everything - from press conferences, media appearances absolutely everything.
So Wilder has to take less money (which is understandable), travel to the UK, agree to the all the sky promotions etc - basically he just becomes AJs biiiiitch until fight night.
AJ is a product of Sky boxing in many ways and they need the viewing figures. Wilder is hoping that by beating Fury he can pretty much force Hearn and co to come to the states and fight on his turf

So Fury's win over Klit meant nothing either?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fury never ducked Klit, that is the issue.
As soon as the big fights become available Fury takes them, Joshua on the other hand makes excuses.

Fury's win over Klit gets unfairly overshadowed by AJ's win over Klit.
He was 2 years younger, current champion vs Fury and couldn't land anything on him. Yet he flatten's AJ and for some reason didn't want to go all out to get AJ out of there. Bizarrely AJ and the idiots who are mugs of the Sky hype/agenda buy into that victory more.
