Hopefully Forest will be able to cope better with a team parking the bus then they did against Rotherham. Grabban is amongst the goals now so hopefully he will be fed with chances tomorrow. If he can keep his scoring rate up then he is looking at a decent haul this season.

Millwall will be desperate for a point after their surrender to the Blunts on Saturday. They look competent enough going forward but there is plenty to get at in their back line.

I reckon Forest could hit their straps in this one and am going for Forest 3-0 Millwall. Another for Grabban and one each for Lolley and Carvalho.

I have said that before though.

I expect em' to defend from the front and hassle balls out from the back. They will try to stop us playing, so up to Pants to kick long, so a perfect game for Murphy to start.

The championship is a crate of bombs and banana skins. I’ll take a dire 1-0 any day, as I’m not sure what our record is against Millwall but it can’t be too great.

With half the league already played, derby playing Norwich, and only being 2 points off the lottery zone, it’s a good situation to find playing third from bottom.

1-0 forest 👍

Leagues congested,

2 points between 5th and 15th, we could win and go up 6 spots, or get rolled over and tank three spots just through goal difference

Harris has put the pressure on Forest by stating that 20000 Forest fans will turn up expecting a home win.

It is as congested as I can remember. Forest aren’t normally looking up at the higher echelons of the table, though, to be fair!

I see Steve Bruce was not exactly the greatful recipient of a cabbage at Villa Park last night?! What is going on over there? They seem to love a good panic. I suppose being an ex-Brum manager, there are some only too ready to twist the knife.

Millwall at the den can be as tough as it’s gets in the championship, they don’t seem to travel too well and so we are strong favourites.

Feel an early goal and 3-0 could well be on, but equally could be another Rotherham or worst if we not at it!

I have a mate who supports Villa, think there fans are sick of the position they are in, no-one would have thought 3 years after relegation they would still be struggling!

They have spent a fortune, Lansbury and Hogan for example hardly get a kick these days and image what their wages are!

Not to mention Mich Richards who is on the books but not played for 2 years!

We have been there and it’s not nice!

I don’t have as much sympathy for them. Know a Villa fan who was giving it the big ‘un when they were first relegated saying how hey were going to destroy the Championship. I do have a wry smile when I see how it has panned out for them over the last few seasons. Lansbury has disappeared without trace. I always thought his attitude was a little suspect and it seems he has been found out and cast aside over there.

Millwall has enough chances to win three games when they lost 1-0 at the CG last season. They might fancy their chances tonight if they can pull off a whilst performance. I would like to think Forest won’t be as wide open as they were that evening.

We are more solid these days

Also they were newly promoted full of energy and enthusiasm, get the feeling they are a little bit more used to losing now, maybe don’t have the same resilience a year on, guess we will see

As for Villa, I don’t have sympathy either as no one had any for us. I can relate, however, if we still had Montanier changing the whole back 4 every week I think I would be throwing vegetables at him also 👍

That’s it!
That’s the team!

Will the lions get a mauling?!
No.
But as it goes, that’s definitely the forest squad at this strongest

Pity Villa have sacked Bruce before we can play them.

He sounded thoroughly at the end of his tether to be fair. It was inevitable once the fans started throwing shop produce at him.

Hoping Carvalho can show the kind of form that he did against Sheffield Wednesday. People will be demanding that of him more often. Saying that, he did set up Grabban well for his opener at Blackburn.

Evening all...

Got a good feeling about this one. We are playing with confidence, increasing each game we play without losing. Confidence breeds more confidence. The trick is not to get too cocky with that confidence.

Yes, home form could be the key to breaking the top six as Forest don’t look like picking up many wins away from the CG. They should be looking to really putting away the likes of Millwall. Should be a decent crowd down the CG so they really could do with the majority of it behind them early on. Fast out of the starting blocks and really get them on the back foot, please.
