We have to hope that we can beat Blackburn at home on Saturday.

Best ground Grounds on Saturday

Perhaps he should have brought Wheater on to steady the defense. I think it would have been a better option. At 1-0 down we had a chance.

Guess it could have been different if the ref hadn't robbed that goal

We had a bad ref on Saturday and now another. There's not much use in complaining as it makes no difference whatsoever.

That will bump up the crowds for Saturday sitting at home and in pubs watching it on the box

Next up that olde derby match 15th v14th only our minus four goals separating the teams.
PP awakes this morning after mulling over the tinkerings for Saturday in his sleep.
Mid table won't last long unless we start scoring a few more than we are letting in so expect another change in the back four to kick start the tinkering.

The back 4 should be left alone barring injuries. Obviously missing Alnwick and Taylor but Wheater and Hobbs looking a good partnership and it's changed after 1 and a bit games. Unless Wheater can't play sat/Tues/sat anymore. Still see goals scored being a problem. Magennis works hard, does the job madine did but he looks a league one striker to me. Doidge hasn't looked convincing yet. Missing Ameobi so one dimension on the flanks. Going to get beat in games like last night. Points will be picked up by backs to the walls performances like Saturday, at reading, v Birmingham while nicking a goal against the run of play. It will be enough to stay up but stay lower mid table. Not going to change until ken sells/gets investment. Looking at what stoke had up front last night Afobe and berahino up front, ince backing them up and crouch and McClean on the bench just doesn't compare. I expect stoke to be going for promotion and at least play offs. Looking at it would you pick any Bolton player in combined stoke/Bolton side apart from maybe Olkowski? Big game Saturday though, Wheater back and similar performance to the Derby match. Just my two pennies worth.

It can be a fine line between lower mid table and falling through the open trap door come the end of season scramble especially if confidence slides away at the same time.
PP needs to tinker in the right way which is probably the opposite of his way.

It sounded like Stoke targeted the right side, as other teams will, knowing Grounds is the weak link.

Hope Taylor is back soon. A position that needs a review in January providing not under another embargo then. Oh don't forget it's 3 at the back once Lloyd dier is fit. That old get 36. Wish is was 36

Your football club needs you ,Ken wants 20,000 fans every week.

Ken needs to be realistic. I have a season ticket but wouldn't be upset if match day prices were £20. If he's expecting Wigan or Blackburn to bring many he will be disappointed. Usually villa or Leeds who bring big crowds. The 20000 he was referring to well one was against Chesterfield and it was a fiver. Big clue there Ken. The other was the last game which we got promoted where you would expect a big crowd. Lucky to get 17000 this season and that's with the away end totally sold out.

20k for a fiver against Chesterfield
Verses
Ken wants 20k at 30odd quid against Blackburn
hmmmm I was good at sums once honest
Got it ! Ken needs to pipe down and cough up an investor.

Steve Bruce sacked by Aston villa. Kens already on to it, no cabbages will be allowed to be brought into the stadium.

I wonder how much Ken wants for the mad Prof P.
Mind you Villa may not be able to pay the invoice then Ken would feel what being on the other side of his debts feels like imagine him telling us how hard done by he feels suffering something like that.

Crafty Ken it wasn't robbing Peter to pay Paul he borrowed the money off Ed and lent it to BWFC so when the little Davies's want the money back Ken will have to get it back off the club he owns to hand it back to the family.
What interest rates these two deals attract is a secret so secure it's being kept in the secret Gartside fax hiding place.
