Great game in the end, Windies are not as bad in the limited formats as they are in Tests. Hope with a brilliant hundred. Kohli 150 is becoming the norm these days.

Also, while Kohli’s batting is on another planet his captaincy is most certainly not. Choosing to bat first when we all knew dew would massively restrict our three spinners in the evening. Plus chasing is his strength. Silly decision.

Kav I think India need to try this as well. I think we have a weakness in setting totals as most of the times we don’t get a blazing start and middle order never moved froms the first.

Also apart from bumrah and bhuvi we have an issue with pace bowling. India will be praying that this 2 are available for the full stretch of the WC and 100% fit and fresh. I am hoping some of the key players get fully rested from IPL and especially Kohli, bumrah and bhuvi.

Viru how awful is Umesh as well - he must be the biggest fraud to come out of Indian fast bowling for the last decade. Has no control over his line and length.

However the same old issues for India’s lower order. They just can’t bat because we don’t seemingly have a lower order. Shocking.

I still say we need Rahane at 4 or 5. Dhoni just needs to go gracefully before he gets dropped from ODIs too. As good as his keeping is, I don't think it makes up for what he lacks in batting. Just let Pant keep.

Dhoni is no doubt hoping for a final hurrah in the world cup last year but he will hinder us more than help because his batting is woeful. He did the same in the Test arena and his captaincy stunk us up for far too long. A legend of the game but he will be 38 by the time the World Cup rolls around. He needs to make way before then. Won’t happen though.
