Must win for Liverpool today?

I’m not sure City can be beaten to the title. I’m not sure that even if we beat them that we’ll be able to match their results in the other games.

Regardless of today’s result, City will win the title.

I’ve heard lots of people say that City won’t reach the highs of last season (100 points) but I honestly think they could surpass it.

Others with aspirations of title wins need the top six to take at least three points from City.

But for all this talk I fmgreat starts for City, Liverpool and Chelsea plus spurs and Arsenal look better

I look forward to the media hounding klopp for 2 weeks post result

Yeah like that’s gonna happen

Hilarious these deluded mugs thinking City are going to win the title like it's a given Personally think they'll be 3rd and it'll be between us and pool, think our recent c&d league victories could be the difference though.

Hoping for a draw

City will concentrate on CL and prioritize that, they look pretty jaded already and have limped to some wins, they are well off the pace, altho they are still winning and without KDB so fair enough but just don't think they'll be able to slog it out this year.

Liverpool look hungry very hungry so that is a massive plus for them, and we just have that course form of doing it often and recently, lack of a striker is the only thing that's going to fk us, but if we're only 3-5 points off in January and buy one then i'd make us favourites.

If our four without a win had been against Valencia, West Ham, Derby and Wolves, you may have had a point......

All tough teams tho, Wolves have been flying, drew vs city too, west ham were $hit hot at the time drawing with us and winning 8-0 at home and they were at home for united, valencia are always tough, and derby are also flying high and red hot.

Also derby are 17th in the current championship form table hardly “red hot”

OP

There is no such thing as a must win at the beginning of October. Must wins are usually aroundabout April time.

$hit hot WHU had lost 3 of their previous 5 matches.

Always tough Valencia are 1 point above relegation.

Look at the scousers conceding the title already! What happened to having city's Number? ‘This is our year’?

Not even November and you’ve thrown the towel in.

Are you arsenal in disguise?

What are you smoking? City have dropped two points through an offside handball goal, yet have 'limped' to some wins. Which wins are they? The 5-0 with Cardiff , 6 past Huddersfield or the cruise control wins against Arsenal or Fulham? Yes they had more players at the WC than anyone else, so may have claims for a hangover, yes they have had two of their best (and one of their worst) players out for a long period but they are not 'limping' to victories. Perhaps you meant the stroll past Chelsea in the Community Shield?
Today is a game between the two likely contenders for the PL, for the neutral it is the game of the season so far. Both teams are improving but how on earth do you think they are 'off the pace'?

How is it a must win game with thirty games of the season left? One of the most over used phrases in Football.

I'm not usually one for making speculative predictions, but if City don't win the title again this season, I'll eat my flip flops.

Hopefully they win the CL as well and then Pep can fack off back to the continent so normal service can be resumed.

Or there's a Tory leadership battle, followed by a hard Brexit, and the horrible little genius is frogmarched onto a plane headed back to the People's Democratic Republic of Catalonia by new PM Jacob Rees-Caaaant.
