Tbh I couldn’t give a feck who the Celtic manager is, would have been nice if mags hadn’t joined rank and file... could simply have posted saying yer manager was staying but nope..... had to drag us rangers fans into itshame, shame, shame

Even with the TV money clubs down south get, I’m not sure Villa have deep enough pockets for a cheque book manager like Brendan

The only bad news is that this has came to a conclusion so quickly. Was hoping it would be one of those long drawn out things in the hope it might keep your camp unsettled. But being international break was unlikely anyway.

If Celtic win the league this season and he is still at Celtic at the beginning of the 2019/20 season he will be looking at being at the helm for a push at 10.

No way he would go for 9 without looking at 10, if he leaves at the end of this season and we have won it 10 was never in his mind.

I don't like all the 10 chat, lets just try and get 8 which is by no means a given, Rangers, Hibs and Hearts will all run us close and could pip us if we don't push on, but I suspect that they may fall away a wee bit and by seasons end we will have sown it up with 2/3 games to spare.

Thinking way ahead whoever is in charge of Celtic in 19/20 if and again its an if they won that one to make it 9 no way are the walking going into a potential 10 in a row season.

Not sure he'll be thinking like that.
It's not like he's actually a genuine nine in a row manager like Stein. He's just one of a few who have contributed to it.
If a big prem job opens up for him, he'll be away regardless.

Jonathan Norcroft put a post on a reddit chat yesterday about the actions of a newspaper (didn't name them) in how they judged their sports journalists.

They basically created a league table and the 'best' journalists were the ones whose content got the most hits. Guys straight out of journalism school who were putting out sheidt on transfer gossip were sitting at the top of the table, while award-winning journos with great content were sitting bottom.

Thankfully most editors/owners are now using alternative measures including length of time on articles and how likely they are to read other content after reading articles etc.

If Gerrard is at rangers long enough to win a title the egotistical brendan won't want to be here when that happens, he couldn't handle being the tic boss who lost ten in a row
