LQ, just out of interest - are you okay with the very murky stuff your owners are into?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No not at all, there’s some very troubling things happening.
And I have said that before.
Erik on the other hand basically castigates an entire culture with blanket statement bigotry whilst ignoring other things like uniteds links with Saudis.
The glazers support of isreal who are commiting genocide, they are sterilising Ethiopian Jews shooting children starving an entire people, using chemical weapons.
But all stretty is bothered about is Abu Dhabi because they own city, nothing to do with anything else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please stop peddling lies. Sterilising Ethopians? Where did you get that from? Here's a link to one of Israel's favourite singers. She's beautiful, well loved and....Ethiopian.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israel-gave-birth-control-to-ethiopian-jews-without-their-consent-8468800.html
It’s been well documented, my wife wrote a piece on it, and other things that isreal has done.
Isreal admitted doing this.
So who’s lying exactly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually quite a sensible thing to do. Should be brought in more in Africa, to limit over population. Same in India and China.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s a very slippery slope you are on there.

The earth can not sustain anymore of a population explosion.

Exactly. It’s getting to the point that measures like that might become necessary. It’s not something I’d want to see, but people don’t take responsibility (or have no access to birth control/or are banned on religious reasons(downright stupidity) then it will become too late.
Inefficient and unsustainable forms of production and consumption are a far greater problem than population growth. The developing world has a much smaller environmental footprint per capita than the wealthier countries. Billions of Asians and Africans isn't the problem. Billions of newly middle class people consuming like Europeans and Americans will be.
To put it another way, the degree to which we replace the resources is far more important than how many of us there are. The total biomass of ants and termites on the planet is far in excess of the total biomass of humans but of course no one worries about overpopulation of ants, because they exist in an ecologically sustainable loop, putting back as much as they take out. 'Cradle to cradle' theorists have shown that humans can also exist in an ecologically neutral way. Of course it takes innovation and a willingness to make big changes. It says something about the human race that you come across more people ready to talk about sterilisation or other forms of depopulation before they would contemplate significant changes to the economy and individual lifestyles.
The planet isn’t over populated, we just need to stop living like fat pigs buying sh-t we don’t need.

I’m pretty sure Israel didn’t ask permission before they did this. The Ethiopians didn’t request this treatment it was forced on them unknowingly.
As for Saudi Arabia, I have know problem with a business man with no connections to the Royal family buying United. The royal family are a schit stain on this planet.

Horrible isn’t it
The planet isn’t over populated.
Not yet but it will be unsustainable well before the end of this century if it is allowed to accelerate at the current rate.
Our lifestyle is the bigger issue, not necessarily overpopulation, the planet can accommodate far more than we currently have (as Russian pointed out, the biomass of ants and termites is bigger than humans yet we don’t worry about their numbers growing) but it’s our lifestyle that needs to change to allow that.

Excellent comment.
Calls for machiavellian acts like sterilisation usually have racist undertones to them and even if not it still takes a certain pathetic character and world view for one to hold such an opinion.
While fatties like Baz tard get paid a fortune for every fart while getting fat on unfair subsidies and lopsided trade practices, they also want to these people sterilised.
What next after that?

Anyway, if you read what I said, I said I wouldn’t want it used. Just that something needs done, both in terms of how we live (going back to RR’s post , and the unchecked overpopulation. No one is suggesting anything racist you imbecile.
But sterilising Africans, Indians and Chinese without their knowledge like you suggested wouldn’t really fix anything and is just plain wrong.

Something does need done before it gets to crunch point, but I’d prefer a far less awful way. Education perhaps? But that requires the third world gaining massive leaps. Idiots like Donald trump don’t help matters either, with his wanton disregard on the danages industry causes to environment.
