They won't sell unless it's for a ridiculous amount.
Might as well buy Walcott back
Why he’s nothing like Walcott
Sounds great. Nelson and Sancho. Let them develop. Bundesliga is not very good at the moment. So its not wise to get too carried away with the stats they are outputting at the moment.
Just signed a contract with Dortmund. Not that it means something in football but Dortmund really dont need money.
Got a feeling German clubs are trying to get English kids in because they know they could make a fortune selling them back. Wouldn't be cheap. But i think it would be a risk worthtaking, looks the real deal.
My question would be is it a risk worth taking? What would he cost now £50m+? Sancho already carries an English premium. He has had one year of phoneme type growth. Can he carry that on, or more pointedly have the desire and professionalism to continue developing or is he now thinking he has arrived with all the media attention?
One thing really impressed me about Emery was the word 'humble' he kept on repeating about a quality he likes to see in a youngster. I think Emery is spot on. After being let down by Eboue, Bendtner, Wilshere, Denilson, Gnabry, Merida, etc. its a matter of once bitten twice shy.
Just reading that Dortmund have priced Sancho at a cool £100m. It didn't take that long did it? Still worth it?
Yes. Plus negotiations would drive that price down a fair bit.
He looks the real deal from what I've seen. Pace, but technical ability too and plays with his head up.
Not sure abt that cause there is a lot of competition from other clubs. I am just putting a lot of trust in Sven to find the next Dembele, Sancho before they get to those levels.
Dortmund seem to be a well managed club and credit to their coaching staffs, they get the best out of theirs players. Something the buying clubs never managed to fully replicate.
you have players like Auba, Lewo, Dembele, Gündogan who are doing OK (ish) but still don't have the same outputs as when they were playing for them.
And then you have those who could be described as flops: Gotze, Sahin, Kagawa, Mhiki, etc..
We have Nelson
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And Smith-Rowe
(not to forget, Maitland-Niles, Willock, Nketiah, etc.)
Tbh I am more excited by this lot than Merida et al cause we have far far far better coaches now.
Not to forget how quickly Iwobi is progressing. He could save us a lot of money.
Yeah, I'm hoping all these players develop well. Means we can spend big on problem areas like CB and LB.
while it would be exciting Im not sure it would be good for our defence.
Seems like the type of player we'd be calling overrated and rubbish if he joined Spurs.

Alli is still overrated though.
Sancho scored again today and Nelson scored twice in his first start of the season for Hoffenheim 😀
