Bit early to be giving him a new contact, he’s been decent but it’s only a handful of games. Is that what we do now, play a few good games get a bumper contact?

I think his contract is up very soon so I don't think it is too early to give him a new contract. If we don't then we may lose him for zero, which is very poor financial management.
Hopefully he keeps his focus.

It would only be poor poor management if he keeps up his form, slips back to his normal way of playing then he’s no loss at all.
Luke Shaw epitomises our dull turgid football.
Decent enough defensively. Offers nothing going forward. 3 assists in 5 years is it?
