Good chance for us to go top though and lay down the marker so hopefully we rise to it. Kepa’s looked a lot more settled lately & Alonso’s due a goal and hopefully Hazard will keep up his amazing form

Willian's best performances from us this season have been from the bench, so hope it stays that way

I don't get willian, he got his wish of conte going, and still looks like he's sulking, his body language doesn't help his cause with me, so lazy and looks like he doesn't care.

I get the same impression from watching him, wouldn't mind him leaving in the summer and getting a younger replacement to play on the right.

Definitely. Who would be your choice, I'd love to see either Bailey or Pulisic coming in for him.

Think it'll be tighter than many believe it'll be. If United get the first goal Jose will lockdown the left side + double up pressure on Jorginho. I could wind up being one of those matches where fans/pundits point to our lack of creativity on the right side which in turn will raise the question of Kante's suitability in this way of playing.... that's possible.

I'd predict someone in the region of 3-1 with all goals scored in the second half, cos if we get the first goal I only see one winner.

Team should be pretty much textbook. Think the only major change we'll see in the immediate future regarding selection will be when Sarri experiments with Hazard up top - given his rapidly improving goal threat combined with our lack of goal threat from the strikers it's only a matter of time before he tries it.

jose is excellent when playing against footballing teams, they got a good win against newcastle and jose looked back to his pumped up best.

its this type of game we wont win that will ultimately see us fall short of a title tilt.

this isnt meant to be a negative post but this is a game jose will not want to lose even if getting the sack is his end game

Azpi, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso
Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic
Pedro, Morata, Hazard

Hopefully Rudiger’s fit. I wouldn’t trust a CB partnership of Luiz and Christensen.

With so many comments about Utd shutting up shop, I looked at the EPL table. So far they've conceded the same number as Soton and more than the likes of Brighton, West Ham and Newcastle. And it's not as if they've been playing amazingly expansive football that leaves the defense exposed!

I'm not entirely convinced they can just shut up shop and go for the smash and grab 1-0.

I was really impressed with Chelsea in our two games against them, if they play well then they win.

In terms of striker, I get Giroud isn't everyone's cup of tea but he's a physical striker and surely would relish the battle against Utd's CBs who look shot in terms of confidence. Jose might even decide to play McTominay there again if you're really lucky! This is a game I'd definitely play him rather than Morata.

An on form Jose team is good at playing footballing teams, United are basically performing a sequel of our 15/16 side right now.

We could drop points but if we do it would more likely be down to our feck ups than anything else.
