You know the story about how I started supporting Chelsea after my dad showed me that picture of the squad from around 64?

Well someone posted that very picture in a Chelsea FB group ‘Memories of going to Chelsea in the 70’s’, of which John is also in the group.

I put this comment on there:

‘This is the picture responsible for me being a Chelsea supporter. As a 5 year old, born and bred 10 minutes from Villa Park, my dad showed me that picture on the back of a packet of Typoo tea, it was the 1st team I'd heard of and liked the name Chelsea. That was the start of a love affair that's lasted over 55 years and will continue until my dying day!’

John Boyle replied to it with this comment.

‘(My name) Well done I made my debut 55 years ago at Villa'.

Except the heart was Blue - naturally!
