I thought Morata had a good game yesterday despite some obvious slip ups, I noticed him chasing back and winning the ball back on s fair few occasions. We all knew he would miss that third.

JFDI, I thought he played well against Burnley. Still frustrating he's missing such easy chances but is what it is. Very andy cole like.

Yeah the misses are frustrating but if he convert on average b1 everyone other game at least, and maintain the work rate, I can live with that.

That's the better thing, he's actually working for the team the last few games. Looks like sarri has had a word with him on that front.

Such a shame at that 1 on 1 (why didn't he round the keeper!), as it was so late I hope it doesn't ply on his mind. 2 goals is a confidence boost for anyone...then he ends the match on that note. Could knock him again.

Exactly what I was thinking Nick. You'd hope that it would make him more determined to get it right next time but with him you just don't know.

I just don't get the thinking of it, he doesn't seem the smartest guy does he, on or off the pitch, he sounds like one of the muppets in his interviews.

As you say his finishing isn't great at all for a top class striker and it shows in moments like that where he decides to go for the lob instead of trusting his ability to finish and go round the keeper. Most strikers would have attempted to go round the keeper.

Perhaps he thought that the goalkeepers (he's 6ft 7) legs were too long. laugh>
