Some of our newbie fan base are starting to show their true colours already I see.
I can't believe there's been critisism of young Billy Gilmour. He came on with 5 minutes left after and is apparently responsible for failing to to do what the starting eleven couldn't for the previous 40 minutes!
The more pragmatic of us that forecast many results like this were dismissed as being negative at the start of the season.
Short term pain for long term gain is the name of the game now!

Positives yesterday I thought were Tammy, Tomori and Jorginho.

Yup the problem is that much of our fanbase don't know anything different than success and trophies pretty much every season. They've been spoilt rotten basically.
Thing is they're going to have to suck it up for a season because this is what we're doing due to the transfer ban and it's an incredible and very rare opportunity for these fantastic youth.
Forget about top four or trophies this season as that's not what it's about and our entire fanbase really need to understand that if they haven't already.
We need to accept this weird and wonderful season for exactly what it will be because we could see a generation of really top class players emerge from this season that can serve us for a decade or more.
