This is where our lack of scoring power will bite us on the ass I fear.

Off topic: I see Julen Lopetegui’s Real have lost again. Can’t say I know too much about him other than he nearly became Wolves manager a few seasons back. Is he a good coach going through a bad spell, or a lucky escape for us?

Nuno out

As I predicted. Wolves are awful and Nuno will not tolerate this rubbish. That goes for Neves, as well.

Wouldn't surprise me if my 3-0 loss prediction is on the conservative side. We could easily lose this by six if changes are not made at half time.

theyre outplaying us, we look shellshocked

Think this kind of scoreline has been coming the last few games where we have started to look jaded.

I would have freshened things up a few games ago and don't think a continually unchanged side is a healthy thing when a few have clearly struggled.

very fortunate to be just 2 down

God there's some knicker wetting going on here. There is 45 minutes to play yet and Wolves never, ever give up before the final whistle..
Have a little faith chaps.

just truthfully reporting on what i'm seeing gem

To be fair to Watford, they have set up well to counter Wolves, so that when we were on top but they got the lead we weren't quite sure what to do. This is where Nuno earns his corn.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Traore and/or Cavalleiro come on at halftime, but I'm not sure who would come off - a risky shout might be Jonny.

No knicker wetting my end gem, just observations.

Luckily we have cav and Traore that can turn a game on it's head

I know I'm seeing the same as you mate. Wasted balls, mis-placed passes mostly from Mouiniho and Jota. Jonny over hitting crosses straight to Foster.
Watford are doing to us what we normally do to other teams, dominating the ball.
But despite that, it's not over yet.

You actually had a 0-0 prediction Herbie, not 0-3.

Easy to be critical after the fact cinci, but there's usually a reason a manager doesn't change a winning side. It got us to 7th after all.

It's good to have players away on International duty, but it does disrupt their training schedule.

Still 45 minutes to go and I'm sure changes are on the way for the second half.

This will be a good test for Nuno and the boys.

vinagre for jonny

The best teams in the world change their line ups all the time Wolfie, it shouldn't just be a case of if you win you don't change it.

Jota has struggled more than anyone but has started every week, i don't think that is a good message sometimes.

Not worried by defeats though, we will lose games regardless of any of that and we can still save this one yet but i stand by my comment that this kind of result is/was coming.

Adama on for Doc

These subs pretty much tell us the error of bringing back Bonatini, two goals down and not bringing on our only other striker.

Fair play to Watford, containing us fairly comfortably

posted on 20/10/18

Should have been passing g that before the foul

Crashing back down to earth.

Not sure we learnt much really though, we knew we struggled to score goals and threaten goal despite the wins so not unexpected when we go behind that we still struggle to do so.

Absolutely no complaints. We were second best for most of the 90 minutes. Don't think we played all that badly, just that Watford were better. I would say that was the best any team have played against us this season, and that includes both Manchester teams.

Brighton need to look out for the backlash.

Agreed, Watford in control throughout.

Ta for the stream by the way
