The problem is gem that in my opinion doing the changes you suggest makes us a weaker team. What I would advocate is bringing in midfield players and attackers that are as good or better than those in our first 11 but aren’t like for like and mean we can adopt different systems without weakening the team.
Watford are a good example of having the players to make that kind of change. They got to a good position in the league by usually playing 442. With Deeney injured and to suit playing Wolves they changed to 4231 and were excellent.
It’s Wolves first season at this level and while we have a very good first 11 we don’t have the depth of quality we will need to make such changes yet. But in the next couple of transfer windows that’s what we need to aim for

Totally agree with that DJ but my idea was just to change the dynamic of the game with the players that we have available now. I think Bonatini will be going out on loan in January as Nuno seems to have given up on him.If so, hopefully, we will bring in a top class striker and that would change the dynamic of our game more than anything.
Yes I totally agree with all that but, I still believe you have to have an alternative plan.

A fan of 4-2-3-1 myself and reckon Neves could be superb in the middle of that three one day.
