I platinum'd this on Sunday. Brilliant game, however, still behind God of War and Bloodborne in the race for best exclusive of this gen, for me.

Excited for the DLC (for once), though Probably have to delay getting it, because, as well all know, ain't no time for no other game from this Friday

Yeah everyone rushed out to buy it because all the hype but it didn't live up to It
Looks one of those games that's fine for an hour or so

What will be interesting will be to see how many buy the DLC

People have been nothing but positive about the game, I had friends play my copy and go and buy the game. So your comment really makes no sense.

I think it's a really easy game to pick up and play. Sure, it doesn't have the same rewarding combat system as a God of War or a Bloodborne/Souls game, simply because the difficulty isn't high enough (wonder if the new difficulty on New Game+ will fix that?), but, conversely, those games are nowhere near as accessible, despite being my two favourite games of this gen.

It's interesting how people see games, I loved Detroit, really enjoyed Spiderman, and found God of War great fun too.

But my preference so far would be Detroit, Spiderman then God of War. But I suppose it is down to what you enjoy.

Who are these disappointed people? I think I have yet to meet one......

Everyone I have spoken with has loved it and a good proportion have it as their game of the year

It's what Celtic does, He hasn't played the game, see's everyone enjoying it, and feels the need to rain on their parade for some reason.

I see it all the time from him, and don't take anything he says seriously.

Just completed the story, it is very much, more of the same. There are some pretty big fights and a new foe armed with a mini gun (tough SOB). No boss fights though.

All in all a reasonable DLC for the money.

Spiderman is great overall. Wish it was harder (can't be bothered to play it all through again) but that's about it.

That didn't happen, people saw it was something special and continued to buy it. Apparently this has outsold all previous Spiderman games put together by over 30%, which is a pretty insane stat.

I haven't Simon, I must admit to being surprised if true, the first was a classic and Rockstar are right up there with the best developers.

My demographic is work colleague's, they were all hyped about it and got it on release
They came into work on the Monday having completed it and I got the sense they were disappointed in what it offered
Seems anyone can complete it , so the difficulty isn't rewarding at all
Combat looks same old same old ..bash buttons and it will happen seems to be the mantra
Graphically brilliant but somewhat living off the fact that Spider-Man has a lot of fan boys - hence the sales

no im sure it is, you linking utd games to a game release yes? a game which no one had played which was hyped to the heavens but some have said its not as good as the hype suggested, utd on the other hand play rubbish football but still get 70k fans weekly despite knowing their probably going to see rubbish again
