He's certainly starting to look more assured and confident. Long may it continue.

I think like so many, he's a confidence player (which Jose sees) and this may be the run of form he needs to establish himself. I have no problem with him and Mike as our CB pairing, and give credit as Everton threw the kitchen sink at us at the end. He didn't fold. I haven't been a fan and still see him as more of a CDM type, but a good performance again, and good for the club.

Hopefully he can keep it up

Facking numpty Smalling, but Lindeloff is showing great signs

He was very good today. Still would like to see him paired with Bailly but I think there is more chance for me playing for united next week.

Calling Mike that when he got sold out by Pogba's showboating is a bit harsh

He didnt have to go in to the challenge like that, let the guy shoot , he could have scored or missed we have DDG in goal

Not excusing it but pogbas mistake happened a long way from the penalty box and smallings ridiculous challenge

Don't know what Rojo has done wrong

People worry too much about dribbling ability, passing range and distribution when it comes to CB's these days rather than sniffing out danger and defending the box, something which Rojo does as well as any of the others at the club

showing a very impressive reading of the game

-------------------

Dybala pulled him out of position repeatedly in the first half midweek and in the first half today all evertons danger came in between him and Shaw

He's just not good enough in truth... Poor in the air and his ability on the ball is nothing special really... Daly Blind got assists with through balls from the back, Lindelof plays a crisp pass out wide... It's not like he's bringing the ball out of defence

He's not been the disaster he normally is tho... Progress

TBF this group of CB's conceded only 1 goal more than city did last for the whole of last season. The dramatic drop in form owes as much to Jose's preseason undermining of them as it does to their collective ability

Mostly pogba’s fault. Idiocy from him. The sort of thing that will prevent him ever from being as good as he thinks he is.

No but i don't spin rainbows to dress things up

Like you with Fellaini... Victor is a new ram down everyone's throat and over rate when he's not a liability

He's not good enough... He's been largely awful.

He has been awful. But how much of that is down to his true ability or down to being new to a completely different style of league?

He was excellent against Juve. You saw differently to everyone else. Perhaps the issue is more with how you see him than how he actually has been over these past few games

Stupid from pogba agreed but having said that he should expect his cb team mate to deal with the resulting danger a hell of a lot better than smallings did

He’s been playing well recently, but there are still collective defensive issues in this team which is why we are still conceding goals.

Condescending tw@t

No i didn't... Quite a few thought he'd been pulled out a few times in the first half... You've probably filtered them all tho... Seems to be a growing list

You were blinded by a couple of blocks before half time

I'll take my judgement over yours all day long though... Fellaini was a world class DM, wanted Papis Cisse, Walcott... Sanchez is world class and Martial should be sold... David Moyes... Claimed to watch Monaco and declared Fabinhos performance as the answer to our right back issue... Only to get mocked because he'd played in midfield

Cool, still doesn’t change the fact that Lindelof has played well in the past week and your agenda won’t accept it. Strange but we all move on. Hopefully you will too babes 👌

When he does somejing like that, we need a Roy Keane on the pitch to put him in his place.

It does seem that Pogba ia the golden boy and does what he wants and getting away with it.

Don’t really get why it’s such a big criticism that Lindelof was pulled out of position a few times in the first half with regard to his overall performance against Juve.

What was he meant to do, just leave Dybala unmarked? He was basically responsible for the score only being 1-0 with his vital blocks, interceptions, winning headers, especially those which put us back on the front foot and jockeying of their attackers when they broke on us in numbers, allowing us to get players back to snuff out their attacks. It was an impressive defensive performance.

I know you don’t like him, Shugs, but be little more objective. The much praised Bailly has never put a performance in that good for us, especially against the quality of team we played.

Second half i totally agree... Never put a foot wrong, already said elsewhere he'd a great half

First half dybala got behind him at least 4 times... Same movement every time. It wasn't until just before half time he got to grips with him

I don't mind praising somebody for playing well... Even if I don't rate him... But the first defensive name on the team sheet and lauding him as the answer after a few decent games following the mostly poor displays so far... Not for me

His best game for us was last season imo... Home to Brighton.

Maybe with a more dominant partner he could kick on... Could say that for all our cbs... Bar Jones probably due to lack of brains

But he's just not up to it imo... Don't mind being proved wrong should it happen... I don't rate him, but its not at Ashley Grimes level of hatred

posted on 28/10/18

Dybala’s one of the best players in the world. He got behind him and dragged him out of position a few times but in the main he dealt with him pretty well, and Ronaldo. I just don’t think you are being objective with him.

I agree with the rest of your post, which probably leads to your reaction when analysing his performance in response to Rob talking shiiiiiiit. Fairer to say he had a great game but has much to prove rather than trying to make out he was poor first half against Juve, which you did, when he quite clearly wasn’t.
