Be amazed if anyone is serious about anything like that.

As ever it's sugar or sheidt with the OF, I've went from almost wanting our manager sacked as he's on the verge of his 7th trophy in a row.

Fickle.

Especially agree with not having Jack and Coulibaly in the same team. Jack is too safe and slow, sideways, backwards in a game you need to break down the opposition when they sit in.

I'm team Katic now as well. Just because i'd rather develop our own player than help Worrall improve then swan off back down south.

Sadiq needs binned, he's not a footballer and we need another forward.

Still confident we are on the right path, hopefully he's got his eye on a few targets in January.

Yeah, game wasn't done yet

I'm going to get slated for this but I am starting to get concerned at the lack of consistency at domestic level. I'm not sharpening the knives or anything but it has to begin to improve.

As I posted, he's going nowhere.

Some Bears on other platforms are talking about it.

OF fans must be the most fickle in British football.

Unless there’s a total collapse (won’t happen, but would be funny) then Gerrard is safe until the end of the season at least.

It was always a risk bringing in a completely inexperienced manager, and then letting him have such a massive turnover in players-whether it was needed or not. Time will tell if it was a risk worth taking, but the odds are starting to go against him.

That's a few times now he's criticised his players but yesterday was a different level, saying he will replace them if they don't improve.

Dressing room unrest is inevitable now.

He brought most of them in. Quite ironic.

I will only believe dressing room unrest is real when I hear it from Kris Boyd.

Thanks for your concern though.

Esc isn't on mate, that's as good enough as any reason to see it's full blown crisis mode at Ibrox.

If Rangers and Hearts had won he'd have used his 5 OP's up by

8 o'clock this morning.

POV agree that it's a risk with an inexperienced coach, but not unusual.

Inexperienced coach on a 4 year contract is unusual.

I am not sure why people are even discussing the terms under which Gerrard might leave Rangers.

He is a rookie manager who has had a single transfer window to take the first steps in a major rebuild of a squad that has seen >20 players leave.

We are top of our group in the Europa League and we are only two points behind celtic domestically.

We lost a cup semi where we had our only two real first team strikers unavailable. We were below par but were still easily the better team but we lost to a smash and grab effort with their only attempt on target.

And folk are genuinely discussing Gerrard leaving!!??

No chance of him leaving.

If he could get a job in England he would have already.

Agree TMQ. I think though it was a bigger risk considering the state rangers were in, on the field and off it.

Like I said, time will tell.

Is this Stevie G or Brendan we are talking about?

I think Brendan has managed in England before. Pretty sure he'll get a job if he wants one.

If Paul Lambert can keep getting work in England then anything is possible

Pretty accurate summation PB.

We certainly need some more creative ability or at least some options for the ones we have.
That said Aberdeen played not to lose rather than try to win IMO.
There defenders may be pretty average but they stayed organised and committed and all our huff and puff couldn't break it down or get the break needed.
Arfield
Barisic
Morelos (or even Lafferty)
Would have helped.

Clearly starting with that guy up front was a big error and SG needs to learn from that.
Its not complicated if you have a player who cant play football, then don't put him out to play football.

It was one of those days

Sadiq playing was dictated by circumstances.
Imagine he didnt play - and we had the same result.
He would have got pelters for playing with no strikers at all. He took a chance on Sadiq - who in his own words, has shown vast improvement in the past couple of weeks.
But we can't lay the blame at Sadiqs door either.
For me that was one of the biggest pumpfests of a 1-0 loss I've ever seen.
Its disappointing we never made something out of the whole host of attacking moves that were started, but we were missing our top 2 strikers....!
I think we're missing Dorrans more than anyone.
He's the one guy from midfield who can make goals from the centre of the park, now that Windass has left.
There are not many goals from anyone else other than Tav who has had a couple of recent offdays.

The match is one thing but I seriously hope tae fluck that its Celtic fans mentioning Gerrard and getting his jotters in the same sentence.
The difference in the football being played this season is like night and day compared to anyone else the past 6 seasons.
We can already see the improvements hes brought to the club and I'm sick of manager and squad turnover.
He should and almost certainly will be given the time to see it through - whether we see the results this season or in time to stop 10IAR doesnt really matter.

Far far too sensible an approach.

There’ll be kittens being born in every nook and cranny down Ibrox way if we get to eight titles; never mind nine.

I genuinely think everything will be hawked to stop that happening as it would just be far too much for too many bears to take.

And yes I know there’s a long way to go before then.

You only need to look at how many goals Celtic scored without Dembele at the start of the season. That was with Edouard and the thumb rather than a streak of pash who hasnt played more than 5mins all season

You're right about pushing out all the stops if you manage to make it to even 8, but I cant put too much on one or two bad games.
We were having one or two bad games a week most weeks last season
