That’s what’s pisssing me off, we have a talented young player who has actually performed better there and he’s getting no chances. Honestly don’t get why we didn’t send him out on loan again.

That’s what’s pisssing me off, we have a talented young player who has actually performed better there and he’s getting no chances. Honestly don’t get why we didn’t send him out on loan again.

I’m not sure Pereira is the answer either but he can’t be any worse than Matic

Only way Matic gets dropped is if he’s injured, Mourinho loves him. Dunno why, he’s been shiiiit for the vast majority of the time he’s played for him.
Matic was poor in the first 30 min (but so was everyone) but grew into the game. Made quite a few nie long balls for the forwards to run onto in the second half.
Needs to be doing far more in general though.
Matic's primary job is as a shield. He is woeful at it. Secondary job is as a recycler of the ball but he holds on too long and is massively risk averse in his passing (I suspect it has a lot to do with being unable to cover if he makes a mistake.

Tommy, at least a lorry moves from time to time. Matic is more like a ploughshare. We have an energetic midfield possibility with Herrera Pogba and either Fred or Andres, but as I mentioned before, Matic surely must have something on Jose, because it's so glaringly obvious he's just too static. What Jose's doing with Andreas is criminal.
Bakayoko is the worst player i've seen in a chelsea shirt.

Last season he made more successful tackles, passes and interceptions than any other United player. Of the top six sides, only Kante made more interceptions.
He had more touches than any other United player. He was third in blocks completed after Jones and Smalling.
Although given the circumstances and part of the pitch he plays in May lead people to think otherwise, he actually gives the ball away *relatively* infrequently. His pass completion rate is excellent.
Positionally, he is very consistent, something Mourinho values very highly. He is calm, determined, mentally unbreakable (see his response to Mourinho subbing him at half time after bringing him on after 26 minutes), fiercely loyal, experienced, and physically very reliable, almost guaranteeing 30+ league games per season.
Is he adventurous? No. Does he score and create? No. Does he fly in with challenges and run around shouting and screaming, as people seem to like to see in midfielders? No. Does he look sharp, cultured or explosive? No.
But there are pretty obvious reasons - whether people like them or not - as to why Mourinho places so much importance on him, and to why he is selected ahead of Herrera, for example, to play the role.
