Was worried going into the game, but scary how far we are behind them
Yeah I didn't expect anything today. Other than Dave n Tony martial who else even gets in the discussion of getting in their side? Nobody.
Having had Juventus away followed by City away was brutal on us too. We didn't really need that when we're already up against it. And then we lose Pogba and we have to say our hopes of a shock result diminished.

We're 8th. Not that far off.
Also what did I say that was incorrect. Is Shaktar at home not a better fixture to have prior the derby than one of the best teams in the world away?
I still don't think we'd have left with any points today as City are better than us but it certainly made our task harder for sure.
Pogba being out was a huge blow. We have no creativity in midfield without him.
Outclassed by them, but i can only admire Pep and how he sets his teams out and improves players.
How did this board fail to secure Pep. Ffs.

He's a great manager.
And I think you know the answer to that last part. City had been working on Pep for about 3/4 years. Do you think the appointments of the Barca board members was a coincidence?

Simple’s....... he didn’t want to come.
The fact that Liverpool makes a United fan feel better in this troubled time is testament to how far and how quick United are falling away.
As it stands now, it looks like despite spending close to a billion since Fergie left behind a title winning team, United have been usurped and overtaken by Liverpool (among others) in that time frame, a team that have spent a fraction of United and had a far poorer team to begin with.
Looking at the big picture, whereas it may offer momentary respite, having just Liverpool to uplift a United fan should be utterly depressing in the grand scheme of things and should be the wake up call you won't heed.

You mousers dont half talk cack.
Since that time of SAF leaving we have had a second place finish, two fa cup finals (one won), a league cup and a ropey league win. What have you had since then whilst only developing players and not buying because its not the klopp way?
So yes, in conclusion whilst we know we are cack, it could be worse. We could be a Liverpool fan.

United have spent over 750m since Fergie left.
When Fergie left you were champions and Liverpool couldn't even make the Ropey league.
In the next years you won a few cups, the last kicks of a dying horse but now everything has dried up and you are left relying on history to make yourself feel better.
Those cup wins were an indication of United going down and you can see this by the importance United fans now place on mickey mouse cups. It was them that used to call these cups 'mickey mouse' but now these cups mean the world to them. Expectations have also been reigned in in preparation for the future
On the other hand, the same period started with us getting rid of the cowboys and having a sheet team, making big losses and losing best players every summer.
We have brought in the right manager and spent wisely since then.
In the last year or so we have certainly overtaken United, they're now behind us playing catch up in terms of the league table and performances on the pitch.
We are a better team than you in every way now, (apart from hoof bus park), don't delude yourself and you would swap places and managers with us if you could
Historychester United is the name and goal posts been moved to 'you must win a trophy.
When United had Fergie it was 'only the league matters', 'mickey mouse cups', 'the league table never lies' etc. because they won the league and others had to go for cups.
Now, even the cup wins are gone but Liverpool must win the facking league cup trophy or else
Stay deluded boys, its serving us well.
We play cack and win trophies on occasion still. Liverpool play out of their skins and win nothing.
Poor Liverpool when United gets good again
Didn't expect anything from the game. Just didn't want us destroyed by a 6 nil scoreline or something.
My feelings about the manager have not changed.
