Good question. Last great ones were inbetweeners, it crowd (excellent) and peep show. Nothing American is worthy in my opinion, but then I haven’t really been watching any American sitcoms so may have missed some good stuff. Certainly the likes of Big Bang, 2 broke girls etc are garbage..

My favourite episode is from series 2: Edmund buys a boat which includes a majestic performance from Tom Baker.

No. I admitted I haven’t been watching any, but I genuinely couldn’t think of one that I’d put up there with the best of british. I’m sure there are some that are great I haven’t seen.

I've just woken up as well. There are other gems less popular but I can't really be bothered to think right now.

Ok. Haven’t seen curb but heard good things. Scrubs ok at best, South Park is class for its sending up of the modern world. The others I haven’t seen all of them but the ones i have are still a level below british comedy at its best.,

I don't watch TV. But I did until 2001, which is when The Simpsons ended. I assume it ended as towards the end of 2001 they stopped producing good episodes and I just assume they stopped making it after then and did not carry on on a downward spiral of mediocrity?

Sally4Ever is the funniest thing I've seen on tv for ages and I can't believe it hasn't been banned. For those who don't find it funny theres plenty of other things to enjoy.

This might throw a few....

The revival episodes of Will & Grace (ten years on) were excellent..best US comedy I've seen in ages...we watched the original ones which were ok...

We watch Big Bang...but I feel it's run its course now...about two series back
