Derby fans took inflatable snakes to Stoke tonight in the vain hope that Rowett would give too hoots what the little small town fans think of him.

First time watching live for £10 on ifollow on the Forest site.

Short-changed, boring away draw....

OK, can't complain about value.

All I'll say is Forest scored five of the sweetest goals you'll see tonight. If a win was not to be, at least we were all royally entertained.

Just watched the highlights back, Lolley had 4 assists and smashed in a 25 yarder for himself!

I got lost in all the drama of the game and didn’t really keep count of who done what

What a performance

He was always going to have some extra motivation in front of his home town crowd. He was full of focus throughout and if he could have scored that free kick too...

Brace yourselves for some Prem bids in January.

Madness to keep up the ante in the second half, but between Abraham and Lolley, if either team backed off to hold on to something they wouldn't have lasted on long.

Ipswitch next, who are struggling
Then Preston, who 'were' struggling, but are unbeaten in 9 now.
Then direby, QPR and Norwich.

Tough christmas run in. If we stay within touching distance of the pack you've got to fancy our chances

The “wrong side” system Karanka employed was a success offensively but it was markedly obvious how uncomfortable they both appeared tracing back and both Darikwa and Robinson were overwhelmed as a result IMO. With Colback and Yacob both sitting in the middle, Forest let an awful lot of crosses in and Villa’s shot ratio was also very high. That idea needs working on if it is to be employed again.

Just watched the complete game on Ifollow. We had a game plan to attack that looked sharp and incisive, but defensively we were poor. Neither Centre Half was marking Abraham, in fact at times he was totally unmarked and could have bagged a couple more. The sending off was harsh, as was Colbacks booking.

Lets hope the squad isn't feeling jaded come Sat' after that; perhaps Karanka will bring back Geddy in midfield.

I don't rate Pants especially as a shot stopper, but I'm sure that Karanka isn't going to drop him.

Dean Smith "we totally in control of the game"

yes Dean and bye the way, do you really want to sound like a Derby fan?

I think it's fair to say that the sending off changed the game; first disallowed goal was clearly handball, where the offside was in the second isn't so obvious.

Abraham was always ahead of the play for the second disallowed goal. He was too eager and was yards ahead. I thought it was pretty clear.

Karanka hasn’t decided yet whether to appeal Figueiredo’s red card yet. Says on second viewing he doesn’t feel it was as bad as it first appeared. We know that the panels generally don’t really give a stuff about anyone outside the top clubs so it could be frivolous to appeal but I suppose you never know...

Looked a yellow to me. Late challenge but no studs but guess these days laws are stricter

We know it was a red, but the question is whether it should have just been a yellow. Late tackle, not two-footed, foot not off the ground - yellow looked the correct decision but it's academic now.

I’ll be surpised if we appealed. The only times I’ve ever seen these overturned is when no foul was commited. It’s was definitely a foul, but a harsh red. Late tackle, but not an overly dangerous tackle or in a goal scoring situation

I thought it was a red at the time. Lower end of the scale. Kept in from quite a distance. Think that swayed the ref to decide it was too reckless. No studs or anything but I don’t think they would rescind it.

Massive shame for the lad as he had won his place back well recently. Hopefully learn the lesson from it.

Perhaps if you were watching on Sky it was clear, but IFollow showed only the one camera angle from the halfway line.

Red. Not about studs; he really caught McGinn. Reckless.

Come on! Went to put the ball in touch, was late, caught the player. Not reckless.

Plenty of worse tackles have gone in on Forest players this season, and I've called for red cards at the time but mostly it's no big deal if we don't get them.

Didn't see any malice to make this challenge any different.
