No

OK, your opinion. No hard feelings. But it would be nice if you could actually give reasons why not?

To elaborate on that, I think Spurs are far too inconsistent. You are capable of some excellent performances followed up by some shocking ones.

Plus your squad depth isn't as solid as Liverpool's or City's. Eventually if/wehn key injuries strike you will be more effected than others.

But Liverpool are I suppose? Why do you think Liverpool are and yet Spurs are not, despite Spurs being in better form and having better players. Spurs have just crushed one of the better sides in the prem, Chelsea, Liverpool played them twice this season, lost and drawn to them. Spurs definitely look the better bet of the two to last a title race.

Because youve lost three games already which makes me think you're not as good.

I dont think Liverpool will win it either though.

Inconsistent.

Spurs have just won seven of their last eight games. Won their last five away Prem games. Finished top three last three seasons. The one thing Spurs are not is inconsistent.

Spurs have already had the worse injury crisis of any side in the Prem, but have come through that with flying colours. Liverpool, City have hardly had a injury, De Bruyne aside, City have bene very lucky, Liverpool have had none of their key players missing. Spurs have had a whole catalogue of key players missing all season.

The title is between Liverpool and City because they are the best performing teams and the most consistent.

Spurs are fighting with Arsenal and Chelsea for top 4 places.

Wolves, Bournemouth and Everton for remaining european places.

United are just happy to be relevant

You only get three points whether you win 1-0 or 5-0.

All three of those games were narrow defeats with a lot of key players missing. Doesn`t really matter if you lose a few, if you are still racking up the points, You could win 10 draw 10, be undefeated, still only get 40 points. Or you could win 15, lose 5 and have 45 points, as an example

Yes and it's left you five points off the top already.

It also looks as if the reportedly intense training is having an effect.

Would I be right in thinking you have asked peoples opinion just tell them they are wrong?

I think both Spurs and Liverpool will drift slowly away from City, getting rid of any title race.

Spurs squad depth is much better than Liverpool`s. They would never have coped with the sort of injuries Spurs have had. Who are their back up full backs? Central defenders? midfielders, etc.

Media nonsense to say Spurs have a weak squad, they simply do not.

Pretty sure Sandy is on a GB-esq WUM, but Spurs wouldn't be 5 points off City if they were consistent.

I don't really see any issues with stating Spurs aren't on City's or LIverpool's level. You were comfortably beaten by both teams.

Five points is miniscule with nearly two-thirds of the season to play. City will have hiccups, and I am pretty certain Liverpool will no way last the pace. They never do. Spurs are usually well off the pace this time of the year, and always come strong from New Year onwards.

It City's to lose.
Liverpool will try and keep up as best they can, but will ultimately fall short.
We will battle Chelsea and Arsenal for top 4. I think finishing 3rd would be a brilliant season with the lack of signings, stadium delays, injuries and our best players droppign in form.
Can't ask for more than that tbf

Early season defeats count for very little in a 38 game season. Especially when Spurs had so many key players missing in both games. Last season Spurs lost at home to Chelsea early on, they then went and recovered the three points at Stamford Bridge later in the season. I fully expect Spurs to go to both Liverpool and City later in the season and win both games, when it really matters.

They way Spurs crushed Chelsea with still lots of key players missing should be a wake up call to the rest of the division, of how strong Spurs are. Expect the same this weekend at the Emirates.

--------------------------

Liverpool have played Arsenal, Spur & Chelsea all away from home and didn't lose a game. They've also played City and got a draw. That's pretty much all the tough games done.

City have done something similar.

Think you're blinkered if you think Liverpool will fade away and Spurs won't tbh.

Why? Because...well because they are Spurs.

And yet a few moments ago you said a 1-0 or 5-0 win is still 3 points.

A defeat is 3 points dropped, whether it's August or May.
