Was very good. Set up nicely for a season 2 as well.

My favourite season of all of them is actually probably the Cali Cartel one. Don't think this was as good but still definitely worth a watch.

Cali Cartel gets criticism but i agree it was just as good. It had that great underlying story with the security guy snitching and trying to escape.

Yep, was the most tense series IMO. And what probably made it better for me was that, unlike with Escobar, I didn't know how the story ended.

True we all know the Escobar story.

I didn’t know the Mexico story so that why i enjoyed this series.

I watched the El Chapo series again after finishing season 4 of narcos - shows the fall of felix and the rise of other major players as well as Chap which im sure the next season of Narcos will cover

Just finished this and wow it’s fantastic. I might go as far and say it’s my favourite off the lot.

Similarly as SoG I watched the EL Chapo series so seeing the beginning of the Mexican cartels bought more out of those series and I look forward to a bigger Chapo role going forward.

Seeing Escobar again was top notch

Possibly it’ll depends if they just focus on Chapo and not other parts.

S2 though will stilll focus on Felix I imagine

I reckon season 2 will start with Felix but then we will see the rise of El Chapo.

It depends as after Félix eventual arrest his cartel split with Tijuana being bigger then the Sinaloa so depends where the focus goes on first.

You also have ishmal you was a huge partner with Chapo and now current leader in modern day.

Should be interesting

I finished it last week, I really enjoyed it. But Kiki has nothing on Pena, man I miss that guy.

Got a question, why did the big bloke let Felix go at the end? I assumed it's because he had evidence on exposing the corruption of the government, but why the feck would the fed care?

Offered him 2m plus he had evidence to expose his boss and others. Looks like he took the deal.

Yeah that's what I don't get, why would he care if his boss was exposed? He seemed like one of the least corrupt ones who genuinely wanted to take Felix down.

Yeah- he said at one point his family were in oil, implying he was not short of money at all, so it’s a bit odd, as I didn’t think he could be bought. Suspect we might find out more in series 2.

Kiki is a real life character. Yes he was miserable at times despite having a hot wife. Narcos did mess up his death cos it was brutal with his head drilled and skin peeled but Narcos didn’t want to show this.

yeah I didn't get this, since they already referred to him in season one stating how brutally he got killed and some of the other deaths in the narcos series, it was pretty tame in comparison

Just finished S3. Who is buying this story that Amado Carrillo died while having plastic surgery? Looks like a staged death while he got out of the country to me.
