My mate has Onrush and its a pretty decent arcade racer with various modes that is really a pick up and play when you want with no real vehicle upgrades just skin changes to the 8 different types.

I wouldn't pay full price for it but I will likely download it to play a few games

Hi Amiga.

What game do you recommend for psvr that genuinely makes you feel like your on a rollercoaster? I’m thinking wipeout vr with the safety settings off? Are there any other ones? Ace combat 7 when released d promises to look proper mental in vr. Any thoughts?

Driveclub might be interesting.

To be honest baz, I think the two you mentioned would have been in my thoughts, outside of that I'm not sure, I tend to enjoy the more sedate experiences.

I must warn you though, being thrown around in VR sounds great, but can cause serious motion sickness. although for some it doesn't affect them at all, just be careful.

Rush of blood is a shooter set on a rollercoaster, which is a pretty fun experience (was free on PS+ not that long ago) best played with move controllers, but most the time you are moving at a slower pace, with moments of sheer drops and speed.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Thanks Amiga! I’m wondering how I’ll react to motion sickness. I’m usually one of those guys that loves wild rollercoasters, so it will be interesting if I can handle it.

My list so far;
Skyrim vr
Persistence
Wipeout
Rez infinite
Batman

To start with. Would you recommend or take anything out of that list?

Well I have Skyrim, but haven't really played it much, just needs too much of my time, but seems ok.

Persistence got decent reviews, so a worthy addition. but if you want scary, you really should add Resident Evil 7

Wipeout is easily recommended, works so well in VR, and takes it to another level.

Rez infinite I don't know much about, but I know there are plenty of people who have high praise for the game.

Batman has been my favourite experience, a simple detective story that puts you into the Batman universe, great graphics and a fun adventure. I will say best played with the Move controllers, but don't expect to be beating people up or driving the Bat mobile like in the films. you will simply be put into scenarios where you follow the clues to the finish.

Not the longest game, but I enjoyed it.

I would recommend Super hot, doesn't look anything special but works so well in VR. Fire wall zero hour is a cod style shooter, which takes advantage of the Aim controller ( basically a rifle controller) I haven't played it, but I know it has made it's mark in VR.

Astro Bot has been getting some amazing reviews, many calling it a killer app. not my sort of thing. but a demo is available to download. Think of it as a Nintendo game in VR, Moss is another game in the same mould that got great reviews.

I could go on and on, for example I enjoyed Farpoint again it made use of the Aim controller, but there are all sorts of games coming, it really will depend on what you enjoy.

This is first gen VR, and I have really enjoyed it, but It has it's limitations, and I'm really looking forward to how VR grows going forward.

Move controllers are a must, I would say.

Awesome stuff Amiga as always

I’m starting to think buying 2 move controllers is probably a good shout- particuarly as super hot looks really good fun and likely needs them to play..Definately getting batman, it looks very good. Thought about farpoint, but am not sure.

RE7 might be a bit mental for my liking

I’m a massive dead space fan, I wish they’d remake that for vr, but the persistence looks the closest bet.

Move controllers really add to the immersion, they really should be at the top of the list. You will need them for certain games like Superhot, and others like Batman it really helps you become part of the world.

I think you have it spot on Hitler, it's just a click of a mouse to add them to your collection. You don't even need to download them if you don't have the space at that time.
