In his defence the movement was, again, a disgrace.

Gotta couldnt even create anything goal scoring opportunities against a relegation team

Yeah the French world cup winning midfielder is terrible.

His attitude bid terrible though. Clearly wants out.

Bollox.. Very talented player and his the ability to pick out passes not many other see.

However attitude can be suspect. Football intelligence and awareness are far short of top class level and doesn’t have the ability to dictate play like a top class midfielder. Defensive liability at times.

But, you can’t call him a shocking player. It’s jist not true. He’s a very talented guy, but one of those who might never become the player his skills should make him, partly due to himself, and the coaching style.

Many will try to blame Jose for his form, and to an extent they will be right, but they will gloss over the fact that most of this is pogba. In the right team where he’s not expected to be a fullcrun he will flourish, but so would most talented players, the truely good ones pull their team up. He rarely does.

Deschamps dropped him after the opening match of Euro 2016 because he was not good enough.
France would have still won the world cup this year if they'd started fecking Bakayoko instead if Pogba.

The take down was brilliant. But let’s not pull out zidane comparisons, pogba has a very, very, very long way to go before he can even earn the right to a comparison vs Zidane.,

Doesn’t need to look for the glory pass every time
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Part of that is his lack of football intelligence. He just diesnt seen to know when to keep it simple, and learn that he can shape play with a simple pass. I’m not sure he will ever get that.

Hererra is litterly three feet away, give it short, move into space, get it back. It doesn’t always have to be a glory ball. He’s supposed to be one of, if not THE best CM in world football and he doesn’t seem to realise this yet, not for Utd anyway.

In that youth team he was the 2nd best midfielder in a 3 of Ravel Morrison, Ryan Tunnicliffe.

Just isn't a central midfield player anything like what we are accustomed to at Utd. In fact I'm struggling to think of a position on the pitch where he would excel.

That’s the issue. Isn’t all round good enough to be a linchpin, or dictate play unless backed by a quality mf- like at juve..he’s a bit of a luxury player. Great in a good team where there’s quality movement and he’s not expected to defend and put a shift in, but when he’s expected to be the main man, he comes up short. Just need to Harry him. Teams know this.

Suits a slower pace. Give him time to think and he deadly.

I don't even think he has the ability/creativity to be a luxury player.

That tag can only be reserved for the likes of Riquelme, Ronaldinho, Totti (When his legs went), Hagi, Sneijder etc.

I don't think I've watched match and ever thought Pogba was the best player on the pitch. 2 years ago at the Euros Moussa Sissoko was showing him right up. Was far from key player for them at the World Cup. Was the worst midfielder Juve owned. Even Carrick with a heart condition and 10 years his senior was a more complete footballer than him.

He doesn’t deserve to belong in the category of players you lost as luxury players, they did actualky change ganes more than pogba, who. Has on a select few occasions., much of the perception around pogba is that he’s a world beater-record fee, hype; and marketing. They don’t add up to the end product on the field, who’s a highly talented but incomplete footballer.

But he is luxury, in that he won’t dictate ganes, he won’t offer much defensivley, but he can pick a greatcpass or cone up with something to create a chance. That’s fine if he can be carried with the other duties, but here he’s not being carried at all.

He may be a terrible footballer but what about his haircut and the dabbing ? Can't be good at everything.

I wrote on one below... I haven't read the comments

He stood up to bad tackles by soton.. that should of been rewarded with a red card for soton. Around 55 min. Utd would of won if given.
