Guedioura could play there IMO.
I don't like to play players out of position so I think I would risk Iacovitti or whoever else plays CB for U23s.
Hopefully PNE won't be very adventurous when they come.
It is likely to be Hefele and Robinson. Robinson has the pace and Hefele brings the command. I’m confident they could do a job together.

Osborn at LB then Will?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not completely against the idea.
I’m not one of the Osborn bashers. I think he has done reasonably well at left back. He is far more useful to Forest further up the pitch but needs must.
Janko is another option but a right footer at left back has always seemed a bit of an ask to me, especially if they come up against a winger who hugs the touch line.
If Osborn is LB Preston will attack him with crosses to and beyond the far post. And in other ways.
Not his fault of course; and whoever comes in will be targeted.
They need to look at ways to stop crosses coming in from the opposite side then. If it means curtailing Darikwa’s exploits up be pitch then that might have to be the sacrifice.
Fray reckons that it will be telling if they get a hint at tomorrow’s press conference regarding Fox. He could be a surprise return for the PNE match but Karanka could keep it under his hat to keep the Lancastrians guessing.
