Foyth has had a good run in the team but this is the business end now, we need stability

I'd like to see Rose back

I like Foyth, but at the moment he would still only be 4th choice. Good that he is getting experience though.

Nice to see Foyth get a run, but for the NLD, it was just crazy starting him when Toby was on the bench.

Games like Southampton at home are the games he should be starting in.

Rose will hopefully play tonight too. Davies is soooo average it's unreal.

Decent defence that although it’s still a toss up between Aurier & trippier.

Both pretty Meh players

I like Aurier he's improved, Tripps delivery is decent obvs

Pros and cons innit

Sandy, we gifted them two of those goals at the weekend - Vertonghen's mindless handball and Foyth's inexperienced dawdling on the ball which led to their 3rd. So it should not have been 4 goals shipped. Everyone knows that Poch dropped a clanger by not playing his most experienced pairing against our nearest local rivals. He doesn't learn that fast bless him, it's only his 5th year of NLD's!

exactly we really miss the Walker and Rose of a few seasons back, not been replaced

I also agree with MKSpur - I don't rate either Aurier or Trippier.
Aurier is technically weak (traps a ball further than I could shoot it) and is rash.
Tripps is too slow and not a strong enough defender.
We either need to give KWP a proper run or a serious upgrade in this position. It is costing us

Once Rose is back mentally and physically he's first choice, no question

Mentally and physically fit Rose > Davies
Mentally but not physically fit Rose > Davies
Physically but not mentally fit Rose > Davies
Davies > Broken Rose

I'm being harsh. I like Davies but not for a starting left back. He's one of the best back up left backs in the league when Rose is available.

With games coming thick and fast I expect Poch to continue rotating at the back. The attack is going to need to flourish to make up for goals which we will inevitably be conceding. The trouble is we are not getting the most out of Kane at this moment.

I like Tripps in a 3-4-2-1

Gives him licence to go forward and he's not dependant on defending as much.

We haven't played a back 3 in ages - It used to work so well for us too..

I like that formation too.... Only downside is that its hard to get all of Kane, Dele, Eriksen & Son (our best attacking players) into that formation.... But agree it works best with the FBs we have now

They might be our best four attacking players but in that formation I think you can get away with Eriksen playing CM in place of Winks or just keep it as is and have strong sub to make later in the game.

How about this for tonight? Gaza plays against his former club. Sissoko keeps his place. Son always a good option off the bench.

Both these Formations just highlight how important it is that we resign Toby & Eriksen. A new CM and a possible replacement for Rose (Sessignon) would be on my Christmas list but I'm not sure Santa Levy will be delivering this year

Anyone else heard the whispers that both Spurs & Chelsea are after Calum Wilson in Jan ?? Not sure we'll get that done given how crap Moratta is & what we'll likely pay... Good player though
