I think the injuries killed us. Playing with Mhiki and a patched up midfield is not good, plus we looked quite leggy.
4 points from Spurs at home and United away is still decent.
Tbf De Gea made some gd saves aswell. Don’t know what Kolasinac was doing, thought we played well tho. We would av taken a win and draw before spurs.
Showed signs of tiredness and having to use two subs due to two 1st half injuries obviously limits what we can do.
There was an opportunity to go to back 3 when Holding went off, which I think would have been the right call at the time. Also think Laca should have been the HT sub (but I do think Mkhi is crap).
Wonder how much Emery will freshen things up for Saturday - depends on the injuries I guess.

I think the reason Emery didn't go to a back 4 was because he knows Kolasinac is a terrible defender.
Kolasinac's one ability is getting forward on the wing, although once Utd worked out he can't kick the ball with his right foot even that threat became limited.

Licht left back, Kola left wing, Iwobi right, Ramsey behind Auba.
"Licht left back" - really ?
I think he is better in a 3 at the back on the right - admittedly he's not great anywhere

Well I would have brought AMN on, but with the players on the pitch that would have been the solution.
When monreal is back, wouldn’t be a bad option to put kolasinac as a left winger if we need some proper width. He’s unlikely to cut in a score a goal, but will keep the play stretched, making a lot of runs and tracking back. Probably closest player we have to a winger. Guess we’d lose bit of passing ability in midfield, but could be an option if we can hurt a team using the wings

I don't that was it at all. Emery wanted to keep Utd potent attackers away from our goal and dominate possession. Thats what you can do with 3 at the back because you can push your full backs into midfield earlier. But I never thought we could dominate possession at Old Trafford which is key to 3 at the back. That was amazing and all down to Gwen and Torreira. Most teams come to Old Trafford and play counter attack. Thats how Spurs won. Its really a shame we didn't hold on after Laca's goal because it would have been hailed a victory akin to what Juve did to Utd.
