I think most sides out there should but there are two sides out there who don't roll over and lose to them and have put together colossal two game active unbeaten runs against them, Wolves and Liverpool

"Can't believe we're already discussing which of our rivals we would prefer to win the league before Xmas. It wasn't even this bad under Moyes/LVG."

We're not. You are.

Don't concern yourself with it. Do you have a preference as to who wins the Welsh league given we can't? No. Your article is embarrassing.

So you wouldn't mind seeing Liverpool end their wait for a league title?

My view is if a team who’s already won the Prem, wins it again, then that’s far more bearable than the alternative! I.e. don’t want Liverpool or Spurs winning it.

And yes it’s bloody depressing

I think its 4 unbeaten for Liverpool.

League game in January, two Champions League games and this season's game.

3 wins and a draw too, including a win at the Etihad.

Honestly talk about bitter.

Man City are everyone 2nd team. Knowing full well that our own team can't win the league, we all want them to win it instead of Liverpool or Spurs etc.

So no point trying to pretend that you hate them.

That's embarassing, guess you'd want your boys to just roll over at Old Trafford to make it easier for them then.

I’d like it to go to the last day of the season and Liverpool bottle it. The opportunities would be endless

Lesser of two evils, isn't it? City winning the league is unpleasant, but Liverpool are our fiercest rivals. City are insignificant by comparison, so I'll take them winning the title over Liverpool every day of the week.

Liverpool wouldn’t winnng be so bad as it’d change things up a bit, and wouldn’t have won just because of a sugar daddy. But the media and fan reaction would be unbearable. They’d somehow be crowned the best team ever, and we wouldn’t hear the end of it for about 15 years even if they won nothing in the meantime

Never really understood this 2nd team lark.

I just appreciate good football. If that carries a team to silverware then then good for them.

If we beat this City team to the title, then yes.

To note, we have made our best ever start to the season and are still behind City!

They are the best team thats ever played in this league so far, therefore to beat them will make that true of Liverpool.

Whats your problem ABLs?

To be fair if anyone beats this City side to the title then they would have a shout of being the best title winning side ever, at least for a single season.

The old Wolves beat Chelsea, Burnley beat Wolves so Burnley must be the best argument. Top notch mate.

Except its not.

Not talking of a one off game, rather the amalgam of results over a 38game season.

This City side are the best side to have ever played in the league.

Anyone beating them to the title would rightfully claim to be the best side ever.

Its actually shocking that the author mentioning - "As much as I hate City and what they stand for" - which we should all do regarding their owners appalling human rights record in the UAE. That they would overlook that on the basis of football rivalry.

Thats not just bitter, that is fundamentally twisted from the author.

Not unless this City side are better in every respect than last year’s. If, for example, Liverpool won the league notching up 93 points to City’s 90, how would that make them the best league winners ever?

Besides, it isn’t just about that either. No one in his right mind considers Mourinho’s Madrid to have been the best ever in Spain, quite simply because the football wasn’t of the same standard as Barça had attained previously.

I would wager that the OP is not one of the minority of Utd fans from matches, and only says he hates City because supporting Man Utd means that you "have to" and therefore doesn't even understand the true nature of the rivalry beyond recent times, much like how Liverpool fans that aren't from Liverpool only "hate" Everton because they "have to"

To the OP, City winning it is almost the same as Leicester winning it - just minus the heroic story, despite what he will try and convince us all to believe.
