Cinci of course we were looking to strengthen, we will always be looking to strengthen. But it has to be done sensibly with a clear long term vision.

7th would be great, we have every opportunity of achieving that, but we also need to set ourselves up for the summer, when the really game changing deals happen.

Our finances are not being stretched by overpaid under performing players so many other clubs like Everton and West Ham carry.

We are setting ourselves up perfectly for the summer.

I haven't read anywhere on here where posters have said that this has been "a great window". You may have read that on the other websites you go to.

I think the vast majority on this forum will be happy now that we've avoided relegation and are aiming for a top ten finish. If you 'expected' us to finish this season in 7th spot, even when we were still in the Championship. what's your expectations for next season?

Watching the Test cricket in Antigua right now and they showed a spectator with a Wolves flag after we got the first wicket.

If he's happy, then why shouldn't we be.

Even hearing the word relegation makes me lose my shat!!!!! We were never EVER in any way going to be facing a relagation scrap this season.

My expectation next season.......seventh without any excuse.

Oh though i will be lenient on that if we do end up reaching europe this season

To be clear my view a year or more ago was that we would be top ten for sure and with a very real chance of playing for seventh if things went well.

So basically exactly where we are.

I never expected to be in a relegation scrap either. My point by mentioning it, was the psychological fact that we've now achieved 35 points, which will be seen by many as enough to secure another season in the top flight.

Any of them thinking that can leave in the summer, we have a chance of being in Europe and I sincerely hope that is motivation enough for the players though it appears it isn't for some of the fans.

Awful window.

And never forget that West Brom were on 40 points this time three years ago and looking at a top five finish.

They stood still. They got eight more wins in two years. They are finished as a club.

Roll on the next window, it's going to be a cracker.
